Japanese rooms are known to be small, but I felt the layout of this room was far superior and more comfortable than other chains. The room has everything, was peaceful, and the location of the hotel was great, so was the neighborhood. I would highly recommend!

Pros: ice machine, laundry and microwave on 8th floor was a huge bonus. Great location with easy access to transit and local restaurants Cons: construction noise at 8 am everyday with 2 massive projects right beside the hotel. Room was very small and lost a lot of space to useless included things like a huge humidifier.

Clean rooms, bigger than usual Tokyo size. The closest train station (Asakasa) was pretty convenient for Shibuya, but other popular spots often required a transfer or two (easy enough). Area had lots of lively spots, shopping, and late-night eats, but the hotel itself was very quiet except for some construction noises when we stayed in April 2026. For the price, super worth it. Note: Some of the staff can't speak English 100% fluent which is understandable, they used translators instead and we had no issues.

Great and chill location with amazing restaurants nearby. It’s less hectic in this area, but close in proximity to wherever you want to go. It’s also next to a couple major lines that will take you to nearby Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza etc. Can’t wait to stay here again!

It has switched to self check-in, and even though the hotel is under construction, the price remains the same as before. Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and when I arrived around 2:30 PM and asked whether early check-in was possible, they rigidly insisted that I pay an additional 2,200 yen. This is a hotel I’ve always stayed at whenever I traveled, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back again.

This was a lot smaller than I thought, especially the bathroom. It is clean. I went knowing that construction was happening. I’m ok with the noise since I was out most of the day. What I didn’t like was that the paint smell was so strong. They must’ve been painting some of the rooms one day and that smell lingered into my room and it was terrible.

Breakfast here is pretty terrible. The Japanese food is undercooked or overcooked, the stations are constantly out of stock and replenished with very stingy portions, and there really isn’t a lot of variety available. The coffee is also not very fresh. The signage indicates this is a new service, but I think you can do much better for breakfast for what they’re charging.
