Very kind staff. The baths were amazing!! We loved our traditional room, it was very relaxing. I loved the retro vibe here. I definitely would recommend staying here.

It was a very unique experience. They were agreeable, and when language was a barrier, even those who didn't know English, they were fluent enough to understand what you were saying and what you wanted/needed and delivered promptly. While I did attempt to use my limited Japanese, it was just that, limited. Whenever I'm in Kyoto again, I would likely come back to this Inn.

駅から離れているため、徒歩で観光してる場合は、不便です。バスは近くから出でますが、夜に出歩く際は、人通りも少ないので少し不安になります。夜の飲食店も徒歩圏内には少ないので、当館で晩御飯食べてゆっくりするのが良いかと思います。ベッドがスプリングが肌身に感じ、温泉の塩素によるものなのか、寝る時は肌があちこち痒くなってしまいました。枕はカバーは洗ってありますが、枕自体が古く、加齢臭がカバーを通してして気持ち悪くなり使えず、代わりにクローゼットにある柔らかい枕に手を伸ばしたところ、黄色のシミだらけで、ゾッとしました…。また、部屋の空調なのか、止めてもずっと音がしていて、なかなか寝付けず、朝ぐったり。温泉があるから、まだそこは良しですが、衛生面気にされる方には不向きかと思います。
