Moxy Osaka Honmachi

The staff were very kind and very helpful. the hotel is in a great location near the subway. I really enjoyed my stay here , I definitely will be coming back in the future . I highly recommend anyone to stay here , it’s the best. Again, the entire staff is awesome and will always help you … and thank you Sherry the manager , you and your staff are the best 😊😊💯💯🇯🇵

Great hotel - modern and chic! Would stay again!

The property is near public transport. There is a convenience store and a bank nearby, which is great. The only issue we had was the fact that the electric kettle is placed inside the bathroom, right next to the toilet, which is very unhygienic. And all the towels are right above the toilet as well, so if one were to slip off the rack you'd have to fish it from out of the toiletwater.

Very good quick service and excellent shower. Ideal for 1st timers in Osaka.

At time of checking in staff was very disorganized. There were a lot of staff counted 5 but nobody was really attentive. Also when ordering a drink it took a long time

It was amazing. The second time I have stayed at Moxy. It’s so modern and fun. Great location and facilities.

Surprisingly the best part of the hotel is the location. Close to the train stations, conscience stores, and multiple places to eat. I was also happy with the size of the room, it was truly spacious for the price we paid.

Overpriced for the experience. Staff does not speak any English expect for 1-2 people, which makes for a very rough time for foreigners. We even speak beginners Japanese and it doesn’t help here. If you are local or speak an average amount of Japanese, it might be a different story. Breakfast was overpriced at $12/person. Free coffee machine was not working 5/7 days, so you have to pay for it at the bar if you want any. Had 2 free drink tickets that we forgot to bring. Tried to use them at checkout but they said they wouldn’t use them against a previous order. Wouldn’t help much with luggage forwarding, which really was a downer. Location was good to trains. Room was nice and spacious. Cleaners were great! Would go elsewhere next time due to staff and complications.

Nice and great location

Teenage kids declared it to be the best hotel they stayed yet. It is their first Moxy hotel stay and definitely memorable. They love the foosball. A bunch of different board games available for kids to play dart board in some kind a karaoke or a game machine too. Easy to do laundry on second floor. Close proximity to metro station. Breakfast was so so but a la carte menu was decent and good. Definitely would stay again.

I’m a bit torn on this one because of the things that led up to the stay here. I was lucky enough to have attempted to forward my luggage beforehand to this hotel because if I hadn’t I probably would not have found out that there was an error on their part with my booking. It seems like something went wrong with their system for whatever reason and the booking was not showing up in the internal system despite being found by the reservation team leader through the expedia system. Because of this, even though I had booked the hotel well in advance and had already paid for the stay, they were rejecting my luggage forwarding until they got some sort of go-ahead. The hotel that was helping me with the luggage forwarding at that time was kind enough to let me use their phone for what probably totaled to an hour and a half to two hours and served as a middle man as they tried to help me out with getting the reservation sorted with Moxy Osaka. An additional thing that no one mentioned until we checked in to the hotel- they will have you pay an additional 300 yen/per night ‘Osaka tax’ fee in cash while you check in. In terms of how our stay was like once we were finally in the hotel, it was very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious, the theming of the hotel was cool and fun, and the room included a fun little Otamatone that we could play around with. Additionally the staff went above and beyond when trying to help two members of my party forward their luggage to the airport.

Comfortable hotel in a great location! The room was quite large (especially for a hotel in Japan).

I think, being able to call for a cab at a hotel is not too much to ask. we tried few times and showed to picked up cab from street which took at least 10-15 mins. I like to think, any decent hotel reception should be able to call cabs...
