Park Central Sakura Hotel was perfect for the purpose of our 3-night stay. Check-in process was straightforward and the staff were clear in their instructions. The room is quite small, but since we spent our days out doing activities and seeing sights we didn't mind. Otherwise, the room was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable, the bed full of amenities and very clean, and the desk was useful to have even a small area to place our things. There was also a mini-fridge and kettle in the room, though eating/drinking in the room was discouraged. If you do want to eat at the hotel, there is a recreation/dining room on one of the floors with plenty of tables and chairs. The location worked well for using the metro lines frequently, and we felt very safe in the neighbourhood. Would definitely stay again if finding ourselves in Osaka!

Staff were lovely, you can leave your luggage here after checkout which is great. There is a station less than 10 minutes walk away, and it's pretty close to Dotonburi/Shinsaibashi for food and shopping! There's a Family Mart literally 20 seconds away too! Great base for wandering about Osaka.

Staff were nice, room was clean. About a 15 mins walk to the main train station. Breakfast started a bit late for us (0730), also not great. Mainly bread products, no fruit. Some eggs/ sausage that were cold most mornings of our stay, even though we were often the first in the breakfast room.

The room was much smaller than we expected, and all of the windows were blocked, so there was no outside view at all. It felt very claustrophobic during our stay. Housekeeping only cleaned the room once for our entire visit, and guests are expected to empty their own garbage bins. You’re also not allowed to eat in the room, which was inconvenient.

I found the property needed to be cleaned and maintained. I realize that there was an EXPO going on in Osaka but I felt the standards we have come to expect in Japan were not met. I feel terrible in saying this but that was the worst breakfast I have had anywhere I've ever traveled. The eggs were runny and cold and the coffee was really cold, we were completely underwhelmed. We did not return for breakfast after that. The first night we were there was a fire alarm ( about 2;30 am) and we all exited the building because of a false alarm (rather have a false alarm for sure) but they said in a memo pasted by the elevator that the alarm was not fixed and that it might happen again. The best thing about the hotel was the showers, and the room size was reasonable.

This is such a wonderful hotel. It always smelled nice! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, even through limited Japanese on my part. It had a lounge area where guests can sit and enjoy meals or simply relax, and that's always a plus. It was in a very quiet area as well. Highly recommended.

I thought the staff was nice, things were clean. My disappointment was simply the breakfast. I had to pay 1300Y but the food was almost cold, options were very limited and honestly not very good (sausages, soggy patties, rubbery croissant). It was unusual for Japan, that prides itself on food. I’m happy otherwise!

Overall it's clean, spacious, walkable distance to subway, staffs are nice. Just one comment on the bunk bed: while there is no problem at all with the structure, the issue is there is no mattress on the upper bunk bed; it's merely a light layer of fabric. We were given like a thin blanket when saying the bed was too hard. Well, that didn't really help. Having said that, I would still book this hotel again, just not the bunk bed room.
