Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel in Japan. Location is fairly remote, but extremely peaceful, and there are free shuttle busses into Toyooka. Onsen was pretty good and clean.
If you are looking for a relaxed time away from the typical tourist bustle, I can highly recommend this hotel. Most guests were elderly and extremely friendly, and it was completely silent at night.

We only stayed the one night. Was a nice enough hotel, a little dated, but a clean room and comfy beds. However when we checked in they slapped us with an extra charge for my son's breakfast. We booked 2 adults and 1 child (including breakfast), but they told us that the booking only included breakfast for my wife and I, and not my son. The reason they told us why was that there was some problem with the Hotels.com website. I showed them the booking printout and argued as much as I could, but my Japanese is limited. Anyway, it was a sour note on what could have been a great night's stay.

急遽当日に予約入れさせて頂きました。
スタッフも皆さん丁寧で、お部屋も和洋室になっており、家族4人でお世話になりました。
プールには子供も大喜びでした。
食事をするところが少ないですが、スタッフに教えて頂いたところで美味しい晩御飯を取ることができました。ありがとうございました。
お部屋も空調がしっかり効いており、快適でした。
もし宮津方面に来る時があれば、またお世話になりたいと思えるところでした。
本当にありがとうございました。

朝食付きで、予約してましたが、近くに、飲食店が無く、ホテルの方に、食事出来る所を、丁寧に教えていただきましたが、なかなか遠く大変でした。ホテルレストランも予約なしでは、利用できず、仕方なくスーパーで惣菜を買って、たべました。 便利が悪いので、レストランで軽食だけでも出来たらと思います

初めて泊まりました。古い建物なのでどんなのかと思いましたが、清潔で綺麗で良かったです。何よりも食事が和食で美味しく、器も美しくて大満足でした。、プールもあり子どもも喜んでいました。花火大会が近くであると当日聞いて、行きたいと思いましたが、お酒を飲んでしまって運転できず残念でした。もう少し早めに情報教えていただいていたらと少し悔しい思いでした。でもとても満足でした。

建物は古めでしたが、内装はきれいでプールもリゾート感がありとても快適でした。
ホテル周辺には何もないですが、その静けさが何よりも贅沢かなとも思いました。
城崎温泉に遊びに行ける距離ですし、近くで海水浴もできました。（予想以上の透明度にびっくり！遠浅で小さな子どもでも安心して遊べますよ）
またゆっくりしに行きたいと思います。

不愉快經歷！
在hotel. com預訂時註明是包括早歺及晚歺的，但是當我們七時扺達酒店時，酒店職員才告知並沒有包括晚歺，我不知道是那兒出的錯，但已經令我們五人非常狼狽，因酒店歺廳已沒有歺點供應，酒店更位處偏僻位置，附近又沒有歺廳，酒店職員也不友善，跟我們爭拗良久，本人非常不滿hotel.com 的預訂資料有誤！
