What Guests Say About Their Stay

This was by far the best property we stayed at during our entire Japan trip. What stood out about it was the staff. They were the friendliest, most welcoming staff of any hotel I've stayed at ever. You're almost treated like a part of their family which made the experience feel like being at home.

Beautiful experience from start to finish. The hotel itself has a very contemporary and timeless feel to it but it was the staff that truly made it shine. Rather than just a place to spend the night, this Ryokan should be viewed as a place of rest and relaxation and it really does show with all the careful attention to detail. The breakfast and dinner service was also exceptional and is highly recommended. Quite accessible with city bus 50 available just outside the hotel. Even though not advertised on Expedia there is a single washing machine and a separate dryer available for use. The dryer needs to be paid for but the washing machine is free to use. Also, very child friendly!

I stayed for 2 nights and loved every moment at the hotel. Every staff member I met were so incredibly nice and welcoming and even gave me an umbrella when I checked out as it was raining which I wasn't expecting at all (thank you for the gentleman that gave it to me on check out, saved me from getting wet going to the store to buy one!) The room was so nice and it really felt like I was staying in a traditional inn. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so comfortable. Worth every penny.

We did not have meals. The property and room were very nice, but the location wasn’t convenient for us. Not a very vibrant area, although it was within walking distance to main train station. The drawback was that the room was not soundproof to the road noise, and was a little drafty. Enjoyed the wood bathtub, the public bath, the toiletries and tea in room. Staff was very friendly.

The staff and room were great. Unfortunately the room location was facing the main road so you can hear the cars passing by all through the night.
