Shangri-La Tokyo

Third time staying at the Shangri-La Tokyo. The location is very convenient, the hotel is beautiful and calming. It even smells very nice. Service is professional and friendly. Save room for breakfast!

Fabulous service. The breakfast team and the Lunch team were fabulous. Especially enjoyed the Omikase dinner.

Great central location in Tokyo. The staff were always professional and friendly. They were always happy to help- from taking care of my luggage to hailing a taxi, to making sure my room was always made up and clean, they took excellent care of me during my stay.

It's a beautiful hotel conveniently located next to Tokyo Station. Staff was attentive and friendly and cleanliness and service was top notch. Things that were not the greatest - charged a 2000 yen cover charge each for me and my husband (our two kids were not charged) for the live music in the Lobby Lounge even though the music didn't start until one hour after our dinner - which is right when we were leaving/ wrapping up. We paid extra for the Horizons Lounge - and while lovely and great service, the price did not commensurate with what was provided. When we reserved our room it stated that it slept four (we had stated that we had two adults, two kids) but when we arrived they only had one king - no "day bed" as listed and said that they were short of extra beds. After a little shuffling the moved us to a room with two beds but still tight...

Perfect stay

Our stay at the Shangri La was amazing. The level of service of both the concierge to housekeeping was excellent. Probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at.

Second time staying with Shangri La Tokyo, room felt like a downgrade from our recent stay at Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo (2-bedroom executive suite). However, in comparison, the service at Shangri-La Tokyo staff was way better offering amenities for children, both hotels were able to provide 2PM late check out upon request during Cherry blossom season. Stand out feature was breakfast experience at Piacere - the Hayama Egg Benedict Original Recipe 1894 was perfection!! Wait Staff Thu Thu was truly memorable and elevated our experience. Check out was quick and the only faux pas was luggage was not sent down to our taxi within time, despite pre-booking.

Superb hotel. Can't go wrong. Service is impeccable. Rooms are large and very well maintained. Hotel Restaurants are great, but you also have good local food options within 5-10 min walk. Overall Great location right by Tokyo station.

Fantastic!!

Shangri-la Tokyo Hotel is very comfortable, well appointed, high service level hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during our trip as we feel very welcome. The location being just above Tokyo Station is an added attribute. We are able to take day trips to prefectures outside of Tokyo via the Shinkansen and get back to rest in a comfortable hotel. It’s a great feeling to have that as an option.
