Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Higashiguchi

Nice, clean hotel. Close to a couple of big malls for shopping and eating. Close to train station. Wish they would have room for 5 people. We had a connecting room which fit our family of 5 easily, but had to get an extra room since the room max was 4.

Excellent hotel for a business trip. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. The trains passing by are a bit loud but they offer complimentary ear plugs.

Excellent location near multiple transportation

Location convenient but expect train noise until around 11pm. Suitable for single/couple travel light, will be harder for family with kids and large luggage. Room very small.

The room was small, which is average for Japan. However, the service was excellent and many amenities were placed out for your convenience in the lobby. Pajamas were also a nice touch and were available near the elevators on each floor. Heated toilet seats and integrated bidets were great. The rooms were clean and properly stocked (towels, toilet tissue, facial tissue, hand and bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner) when we arrived.

Prime location even though it is a bit noisy (but would not affect sleep) as it is close to the railway.

Hotel is close to Yokohama Station and YCAT, which we utilized from Narita to Yokohama. Just had to figure out the route through the maze of the station area. Then it was an easy walk to the hotel through the NE corner of the station. Friendly staff checked us into our 2-room room on the 14th floor. Rooms were small with hardly enough space to have our luggage out and opened. Good thing was with this 2-room set up, son was able to have his own room and his own bathroom, a big plus. But rooms were definitely tight. We did hear the trains but it was not loud enough to bother us. Small bathroom but worked. Location of the hotel can’t be beat! Easy walk to train and bus stations. JoinUs food court had everything we needed. On check out, staff was helpful and courteous in calling to get us a van to take us to Daikoku Cruise Terminal, totaling about $50USD. Good stay. Just wish the rooms were bigger!

Everything seems to match the price since it is next to the rail track.

Nice and close to the train station.

Great hotel especially in convenient location at Yokohama Station. Has enough room for 3 people with 1 twin bed and 2 double sized beds. Laundry room was good. Lots of free amenities like free pajamas, lotion and coffee packets. Convenient store next door.

Very minimal, clean and convenient. It’s in a backstreet, but walkable to the station.

Very clean nd convenient for transportation around Yokohama. It’s not fancy, but has everything you need including a cafe and convenience store.

I’ve been in Japan a month. This was the best hotel of all I stayed at.

The staff are the absolute nicest and most helpful of any hotel. They helped me understand the luggage transfer form and got my baggage shipped easily. They were patient with me when I locked myself out of my room. The room was flawlessly cleaned. The facilities had everything I needed including beer vending machine and laundry. The Family Mart on the first floor is extremely convenient and open 24 hours. The location is easily walkable from Yokohama station and Bay Quarter Mall. Definitely my favorite hotel stay in Japan!
