We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was our first hotel with an Onsen and found it to be a great experience to try the Japanese style with Onsen and wearing the special clothes at the hotel. The Onsen is great and have breath taking views of the Nikko area.
The hotel has a shuttle bus to Nikko station which makes it easy.
The buffet was okay. Good selection.
A lot of elderly Japanese seem to come to this hotel for relaxation.

施設全体は、きれいでまま普通。
お風呂からの景色は、一度体験するとまた行きたくなるくらい空が綺麗です。
特に月は綺麗でした！
星空を見るために新月狙うのもありかと

19:30と遅めのスタートしか空いてなったのですが5分ほど早めに行くと、
あきらかに席が空いてるにもかかわらす、時間前なので予約時間以降に再度来るよう言われ。
席が空いてることをしてきると、仕方ないですねーと言われて一番端の席に案内され。
食事をして20時以降にまわりを見るとガラガラ
嫌がらせで奥まった席に入れられたようです。
初日にガイアの夜明けでレストランには力入れてる内容でしたが仕込みの番宣

食事についてはがっかりした。ビュッフェタイプで色々あるのはいいが、刺身はくずの寄せ集め、ローストビーフは小さく、えび天は
つぶして揚げたよう。豪華さを感じるものが何ひとつない。酒のつまみのよう。
酒がフリ➖なのは酒を多く飲む人にとっては満足かもしれませんが、飲まない私たちには不満な宿でした。

人件費をおさえるためか、チェックインの時に妻が荷物を運ぶ時に手伝ってくれない。システム上なのかセルフサービス。また、夕食で座席案内通り行くと既に別の人が使っていた。囲いがあっていい席でした。別の席を案内されたが、あまり納得しなかったので、スマホでの写真撮影サービス時に、その旨を伝えたら翌日の朝食時は、囲いのある席にします。その時に撮影しましょうと言われましたが、翌朝の席は囲いのある席ではなく、普通の席で何も対応はしませんでした。お風呂の設備は全て良かったです。自然は、素晴らしい夜景と日の出と紅葉で、素晴らしかったです。
