Great location a short walk from the beach and short drive to great surfing. I stayed overnight here on a 2 day surf trip. Fit the bill perfectly. Inexpensive great location and for the money was fine. The place is getting pretty dated and tired overall but the price they are charging (5000-6500 yen per night) was in line with that. The bed was ok comfortable and the room was quiet so no complaints.

The staff had zero inviting mode. No smile, no sign of happiness. The whole place felt like a routine operation, didn't feel any warmth. Pool was not usable. No other places nearby, so you are bound to have their pricey meal option. And that too, needs to be reserved and time bound. At night the whole place lit up with many LEDs though, kids of other guests ran around. Amenities were just OK. The rooms were clean, but many things are old and worn out in the room. Honestly, it felt like staying in a business hotel in city, not a relaxing resort type.

Not much English spoken (Google translate to the rescue) nor on the menus, first night we went to the dining area but were escorted to the snack bar for some strange reason, WATCH OUT for the stealth “bathing/ hot springs” tax of ¥600 at check-out, even though we didn’t even use the pool or any other facilities (not a word of it when we checked in- hadn’t we been pressed for time to return the car back at Haneda I’d have refused to pay and told them to call the cops but hey…), not even a sachet of coffee in the room, air con kept switching itself on a few minutes after we switched it off.

It was OK. The place was undergoing some massive renovations after the last typhoon, so it's really hard to tell. There don't buffet in the restaurant was good. The breakfast was ok. The room was clean & the beds comfy. The wifi was pretty good. While there weren't any English language channels on the TV, there was a free selection of English movies. The hot baths were decent too. If you're in Tokyo & want to get away, this is a pretty decent place for a weekend getaway.

建物全体が、壁、窓ガラス、屋根が本来あるべき場所に無い。と、言うのも、たまたま雨の日程だったが、連絡通路に屋根はなく、床は濡れると滑りやすい素材のため、目の前で転倒し、ベンチに足をぶつけて怪我をしたゲストがいたほど。各階の通路の外に面した壁の窓にはガラスは無く、雨はそのまま通路に吹き込みスリッパが滑りやすい。スタッフは外国人が多く、レセプション（受付）でも食事のモバイルフォンによるゲスト自身の予約方法の説明が説明として分かりにくかった。一般に館山の「鯵フライ」は名物とのことで、これが食事メニューにあったのだが、ここの鯵フライはとても、「館山の味」という品質とは思えない。冷凍食品の様なねっとり感が一杯。期待しただけ残念。

食事に問題はありません。ただ、個人的には、朝もソフトが食べたかった。問題は、廊下にゴキブリの死骸があちこちにあったことです。スウィートルームに泊まったのですが、そこへ行くまでの廊下の端にたくさん死骸がいました。ベランダも汚くて出られませんでした。とてもがっかりしました。
