Extremely practical. Met all my needs. The location is outstanding, minutes from one of the main railway stations, Ikebukuro. I could even run every morning from this location, just by crossing the nearby bridge. I thoroughly recommend breakfast, especially the smoothy. There are plenty of eateries nearby. There’s a super local place opposite.

Super convenient spot very close to Ikebukuro station. Ichiran on the street behind the hotel. Lots of dining options. A bit far from Sunshine City but not too far.

The TV did not work and we found it difficult to make room colder. The bed may not be comfortable for westerners who are used to more supportive pillows and a softer bed, but everything was very clean and staff was great!
Location was very convenient and the hotel was stylish. Very quiet too!! I enjoyed using the laundry machines and just wish the TV worked and the bed and requested pillows were softer.

The B has been my main stay for the past 12 years. It has great access to food and shopping and easy transport by train or subway. And the area is more quiet than other touristy spots like Shinjuku and Ueno.

I stayed in a single bed room. The bathroom was much better than the typical "unit bath" you find in similar places, but the desk space was very minimal - it bordered on unusable. If you're booking for business, or need to stay in touch with work, these desks won't work for you.
