Great hotel with a good location—right atop a busy shopping mall and next to a train station. We drove and managed to get discounted parking at ~S$10 per night. There’s an on-site onsen for guests to enjoy as well.

Very lovely room with plenty of space and a great view of Kumamoto. Lots of amenities provided in the room, which was well-furnished. Breakfast was delicious, with a large selection of both Japanese-style and Western-style foods, as well as Kumamoto specialties. Staff were polite and helpful and able to communicate effectively despite a language barrier. Property was beautiful, with a lot of fresh flowers, foliage, and rooftop terrace. Additional services include laundry, gym, resting/wellness area with microwave and coffee machine, onsen, and self-service luggage storage. The hotel is in a very convenient location, attached to Kumamoto station. We would stay here again and recommend it to all.

Staffs were all very friendly and the hotel is very well up kept. Greatness is so close to the train station as we are using train pass to roam around. The on-site public bath/onsen is one of my criteria during my research of where to stay. A lot of little settings are very nice. For examples: dedicated elevators to hotel floor, access pass will press roomfloor on elevator, big flower set in front lobby matching hotel name, Nespresso coffee outside public batch area, ¥30000 bath faucet in bathing area, high floor with view in room, Hotels.com gold member got free upgrade, good choices in breakfast, comfy in room sofa etc etc ... so many goodies just can't lit them all. I recommended to my friend already. Very nice hotel and great staff efforts. Thanks again.

The hotel is very convenient above the train station. The shape of the rooms are a little odd but clean and well maintained. We needed to do laundry so I have recommendations about that. There were three combination washer/dryers in the bath areas of the men and of the women. These were not sufficient because they took a long time and didn’t dry the clothes very well without repeated use of the dryer cycle. That meant there were always people waiting for long stretches. While the availability of the machines was on the in-house monitors in the rooms, this wasn’t sufficient to overcome the way the machines actually worked. This is a big hotel and needs to figure out how to handle the laundry situation.
