The Ryokan is on the main street of Kinosaki -onsen, with great view and easy access to all the public bathhouses. The customer services were really good. They also provide good dinner and breakfast there. And I appreciated that they allowed me to store my luggages even after checkout.

We loved our room so much, beautiful and vintage Japanese style! Kinosaki was such a treat, loved the onsen, they allowed us to leave our bags before and after checkout. Our only frustration was that they only gave us 1 towel each to use throughout the day at 6 onsen. On our checkout day they wouldn’t give us a towel or a fresh husky’s, and wanted us to use the previous days towel (still wet from the onsen) which was already taken

This was a beautiful traditional ryokan in Kinosakicho, which had lovely serene rooms and granted access to seven of the nearby Onsen locations as part of the booking. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the dinners especially were excellent (one featured a crab course and another featured Shabu-Shabu). Truly appreciate their kindness and would gladly stay there again.

Tsukimotoya Ryokan provided a memorable and authentic ryokan experience for our family. Only a few minutes from the main onsen baths (yanagiyu, ichinoyu, goshonoyu, konouyu and jizoyu). The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner were amazing and so delicious. The warm hospitality provided to us felt like we were staying with family instead of at a public ryokan. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended.

We stayed for one night while visiting Kinosaki Onsen. The staff was very pleasant, the room was nice and clean, and the food served for breakfast and dinner was very good. There’s a small public bath which was very clean and nice, and was always empty when I went in so it was wonderful. Very quaint, traditional Japanese ryokan.

Place is very convenient to restaurants and onsens. On our last day, when we returned to our room at 8.30am after breakfast, the futon beds were already stored away. Checkout time was 10am. We had to sit on the floor in the meantime. We were still paying guests and should not be subject to such discomfort in their eagerness to clean the room early.

My husband and I had a pleasant one night stay at this ryokan! Staff are very courteous and welcoming. We were greeted with a welcome tea and orientation to the room, and onsen pass. Location is within walking distance to the train station and a few of the onsens nearby. There are no showers in the room, as all onsens have showers. We got the kaiseki dinner and breakfast service, and were served by the lovely older ladies who were very attentive. Felt welcome and would recommend to any guests coming to Kinosaki!
