The studio was big, clean and comfortable. Big bathroom and little kitchen whit stovetop, table and 2 chairs. The breackfest buffet worth the 5 euro. There,s no AC, so it was warm in the room, but we had a fan to make air circulation at least. The location is good, but little bit far from the old town ( 20-25 min walk ), as we like walking, wasnt an issue for us :) We recommand it !

Санузел чистый.
Остальное оставляет желать лучшего.
К сожалению это был первый и последний раз что я воспользовался этой гостиницей.
Всю ночь шастали какие то личности по зданию, учитывая качество шумоизоляции сна не было вообще!

Nice and clean hotel. Polite people at front desk. Got my room earlier than official check in time, which was a plus.
Nice room. I think (can’t fully remember) that I requested a double bed instead of two single beds (which I got), but I didn’t bother that much.

Very easy to get to from the airport. A short walk away from the Old City and the shopping areas downtown. Staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Riga.

Staff was good, wifi very good, breakfast fair. The parking is good too, do be it your early enough to get one of the spots in back (maybe 10-12 cars). The building itself is in poor condition. Our shower backed up very quick. Fan was provided for the room. Transportation and location are a plus. Safe neighborhood with bus stop 2 minute walk from front door. Would recommend for overnight for the price.

Reasonable hotel but bedroom on west side of hotel was unbearably hot in the evenings.
Disappointed that no tea or coffee facilities in the room and breakfast hall didn't open till 8 am so getting up at 6 am meant I had a two hour wait to even get a coffee.

Hotel Avitar is located a couple of kilometres out of the centre of Riga, but it is easily connected by bus and trolley bus services that stop right outside the hotel. The hotel is as described on the Hotel.com website. My room was small but adequate. The bed was comfortable and the en-suite bathroom fine. The room had a fridge which was useful. During my stay there was a small problem with a window blind which was fixed as soon as I reported it. Internet connection was good. Breakfast was offered as part of my room deal. There was no in-room tea or coffee making facility. The reception desk was unmanned after 6pm. I didn't encounter any problems whilst staying at the hotel and thought it good value for the price I paid. I liked Riga and would recommend it as a tourist destination. Lots to see and lots to do.

Well located just outside of Old Riga and within walking distance in a safe neighborhood.Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Could have used a room darkening shade for this spring visit when the sun is up at 4 am. Shade let in too much light for me and no drapes on window. Had difficulty finding the hotel parking. If the receptionist had suggested right from the start that I step outside and see how the lot was located in relation to the road, it would have been clear that one had to drive through another private parking lot to get to the gate to the hotel lot. But aside from that hitch, reception was very helpful and even made a local call for me when my cell phone failed. Breakfast was adequate, hearty and healthy, nothing too fancy.
Overall, a very good value for the price and I would stay again when I come back to visit family in Riga.
