We stayed in an apartment next to the Hotel Kolumbs and serviced by the hotel Kolumbs. This was ideal for us with little children. It was between two buildings so it was cool, and a fan was provided which made sleepong very confortable. The apartment is very nicely remodelled and looka new. It was very comfortable and clean.

Great, helpful and friendly reception team. New hotel, clean. I enjoyed my stay. Even chef from kitchen offered to make some think special on breakfast. That’s definitely make feel special and looked after.
Spa area nice too. Been all safety mesures in place. Only one house hold at the time. I definitely recommend.

Maritime style hotels, good bars & restaurants, just a short bike ride from kilometer long beaches & Baltic Sea. For 1, 2 nights Kolumbus Laliepa can be an interesting choice to explore the real former East. Ex-Sovjet Union style port town with nice parks & massive abandoned factories. Good opportunities for biking & taking pictures! Friendly staff at the hotel, I got a free upgrade to a room with balcony.....;-)

Half of the facilities listed were closed for whole duration without notice, namely the Jacuzzi and Billiards room.
Service from reception was poor with 2 receptionists never even acknowledging anyone. The guy with a beard was attentive however.

Nice big room with huge bathroom. Quite modern and comfortable. Enough parking places in hotel's yard, but outside you will face an old historical roads (there are lot's of these in city centre) and you might not like them :). Breakfast is nice, but nothing special, what I might describe more. Facility and stuff are fine. Room clean-up was performed during the day and all towels were replaced to clean one.

The beds are so hard, almost unbearable .
We arrived well after check in time and was still asked to wait for our room.
the hot tub and sauna is not for guest use unless you pay for spa treatments of 25euro an hour, and the hot tub isn't even full of water so,you would have to wait hours even if you wanted to pay.
staff was fine, no friendly or out of their way helpful, just fine.

Clean hotel,good service, staff at the reception desk friendly with fairly good commend of English. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room that we were given at street side of the hotel(probably not required at most of time but the three days that we were there were hot and humid). Street at front of the hotel is paved with cobble stones, therefore cars entering with high rate of speed from asphalt portion of the road sounded like a jet taking of. Got very little sleep at first night. Requested change of room to the back side. So, if you light sleeper do not book room at the front side. Good location for inter-city bus travelers. Bus stop almost at reception door. When arrived late in the evening, we did not see any taxi at this location.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. Parking was in a courtyard at the back. Location is excellent for town centre and the beach. Breakfast room is small but there was a good choice of foods.
