Aman Tioman Beach Resort

The hotel was nice and the staff were lovely, and extremely helpful. The breakfasts were great and there was a great choice of food for other meals. The dive centre was brilliant and extremely accommodating. We had a fantastic week. Thank you.

Other then ants, mosquitoes and flies in the room, the standard of cleanliness of the room was also pathetic to an extent that the day we checked in we found ladies hair on duvets, pillows and bedsheets which clearly meant they didn’t change the bedsheets after previous guests left! There was engine room or probably air con/exhaust right next to our room that made non stop noise 24/7! There are open garbage bins right next to the rooms from here stench of rotten food can’t be missed and monkeys are playing havoc around there. There was a “cattery” which was mainly a cage in which they had two skinny mothers and their kittens locked with awful conditions and a letterbox so full of litter and poo that there was no more space for them to use it - so cruelty to animals was also not missed. On another occasion when a small cat came to the table and the guest called the waiter he came and kicked the cat out! I would give it to their reception staff though they were trying their best to make up for what lacked elsewhere but clearly it could not compensate for so many problems mentioned above. If I can express mg disgust in one sentence: we were booked for 7 nights but we checked out several days early!

Beautiful jungle outside the apartment while being extremely cozy inside. 10/10 would recommend. The best value for money hotel ive ever been to and I have been to some very high end expensive hotels

I put in a special request for a ground floor room due to my bad knee and the staff did arrange to reserve 1 for us.

Overall good. Love the environment.. The bed is big and comfort...the room spacious also very big. Only the reception operations is from 6am to 3pm..
