General Check-in Instructions

1. All rates displayed are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be automatically calculated and reflected in the total payable amount upon rate selection.
2. Mandatory Tourism Tax (TTx): In accordance with the Federal Government of Malaysia Gazette Tourism Tax (Rate of Tax) Order 2017, the TTx of RM10.00 nett per room, per night is applicable to all non-Malaysians and foreign passport holders. This amount will be collected by the Hotel on behalf of the government upon check-in. Malaysian Nationals and Permanent Residents are exempted. Please note that the Tourism Tax is not included in your total room cost.
3. Local Government Fee: In line with Pulau Penang State Government’s directive, a local Government Fee or RM3.00 per room per night is applicable for all guest. This fee is not included in the room rates and shall be collected by the hotel on behalf of the Government upon check-in.
4. Standard check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. A nominal charge may apply for late check-out.
5. A mandatory Incidental Deposit is required upon check-in and payment can be made by cash or credit card: RM200 per night for Executive & Premium Pool Suites
6. Requests for specific rooms are subject to a surcharge, which varies depending on the type of request. For further details, please contact our team at reservations@lexis.my.
7. Maximum number of occupants: a) Executive & Premium Pool Suites: 4 persons
8. Children below 13 years old stay for free using the existing bedding configuration. Baby cribs are available upon request and are subject to availability.
9. Extra beds/rollaway beds are not available at the Hotel.
10. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
11. Additional person(s) must be declared and registered at the Front Desk upon check-in. Any additional persons beyond the stated occupancy limit are chargeable at the Hotel’s discretion. A charge of RM60 nett per person applies to the 3rd and 4th person in rooms if amenities are requested.
12. This is a smoke-free property. Smoking in prohibited areas may incur a fine of RM10,000 or imprisonment of up to two years, as per Malaysian law. A RM1,000 cleaning fee per offence will be imposed on guests found smoking in enclosed areas of their rooms.
13. Pets are not permitted on the property. Cooking in rooms, bringing in raw food materials, durians, mangosteens, outside packed food, and use of cooking appliances are strictly prohibited.
14. Room decorations by third parties are not permitted. Special decoration packages are available via request and subject to charges. A refundable deposit of RM150 nett is required for guests checking in with decorative items such as banners, balloons, glitter, or confetti. These items must be fully removed upon check-out. The Hotel reserves the right to withhold the deposit as cleaning fees if decoration materials cause excessive litter or damage.
Deposit / Payment Policy 1. All reservations require full prepayment for the entire stay. Payment is charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking and is non-refundable. 2. Firstly, starts from receptionist Mr. Fazrul, a very friendly and amazing person. First time met but felt like a friend. Secondly, the room! OMG, the best with a swimming pool inside the room. I really felt super sad when leaving the room because it felt like home. I really appreciate the housekeeping for keeping the room clean and neat. Breakfast was awesome, lots of variety and tasty too.

Everything went well, smooth, and great, but outside the room, there was a steam room which I noticed had about more than 10 'Charlies' inside. Otherwise, the worst thing happened when my little boy was allergic to the chlorine when his eyes swelled and were in pain after swimming. However, this is the best staycation I ever had when I was in Penang. Last but not least, the staff were very friendly and always smiling.

When I checked in, the receptionist was friendly and helpful, and all the staff were very accommodating. The room was clean and well maintained. The only downside was that I noticed a few small ants near the private pool area. Other than that, I had a pleasant and enjoyable stay overall.

1) Location very far from Georgetown. 2) check in requesting lots of data including email address? 3) check out at 11am ya, late rm50 charges? 4) Iron board bended terribly hardly to be used. 5) Maintenance staff when requested to come to room - 2x calling waiting nothing happened, lastly going down to lobby to get the services done. 6) The swim pool cold water. 7) Sauna /steam room have to wait 2 - 4 hours to get the heated room ready. 8) The beach not so attractive for swimming. Not even being beautified. 9) Few lift being shut down at night. And lift quite slow too. The only thing chosen this hotel because of family vacation that need 2 king bed and private pool in a room.
