Our stay was amazing and it was difficult to leave. The overwater bungalow suite was really nice. My husband and I even did shark watching at night. Yes, there were baby sharks! All the staff were so nice! Look for Sattar if you need a professional photographer. The F & B team led by the female manager (apologies for not remembering her name) were all on point. Pasta guy behind the station took us back to Italy again with his carbonara!

Wonderful location. Happy, always smiling and oh so courteous staff. Beach is great! Spent half a day swimming with sharks and sting rays. Could use lighting above bathroom mirror and refrigerator could be cooler. Highly recommend!

We had the best holiday ever at cinnamon dhonveli maldives, everything about the resort was perfection, from the accommodation to the beach and bars and restaurants, all the staff make your stay that so much better, we loved it so much we are booking to go back in may 2025 and cant wait, cinnamon dhonveli maldives is by far the best place we have stayed at, so friendly welcoming and all set in a stunning location. Please do not hesitate to book a holiday here as you will not be disappointed, thanks to everyone at cinnamon dhonveli.

A wonderful first time in the Maldives. Friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings. A few things to note: snorkelling trips will need you to bring your own snorkels, don’t forget to bring sun cream because the gift shop charges $60+ for a bottle of Nivea spf 30, and the food is good but the meals are the same/similar each day. The gift shop is expensive, as are the snorkel trips and scuba diving. Surfing also chargeable and IMO, extortionately priced

Cinnamon was overall okay and average. The excursions that were offered had a person minimum, so they regularly were cancelled. They had planned events on their itinerary but when the time came, the majority were cancelled without notice. The room was clean and housekeeping was great. Shared bathroom areas were dirty along with outdoor dining areas. The wait/kitchen staff were fantastic and friendly but the reception and customer service staff were hard to deal with. The Maldives did not meet our expectations, but the Cinnamon resort itself was in a beautiful location and offered a relaxing stay.

Location is amazing, but the hotel struggles to deliver in many fronts. Most things required extra effort, often reminding you that they are pushed to upsell instead of driven to give you a relaxing time. I work in the industry and have given proper feedback to the management team. They are under huge pressure to perform financially and, although they see it, their hands are tight as to what they can do to deliver value. We will not be coming back, given the enormous range of better options in the area.

It's ok for a 4-star. We spoke several times with the front desk manager (Shahin), who was outstanding! However, it feels like he cannot make big changes happen as the hotel is underinvested from the top. Shahin saved the experience -- without him we would have given this place a 2 star max. We reached out to senior management and were totally ignored. This actually explains why the place is unlikely to change in the future. GM is too busy thinking revenue, not experience. He won't get much revenue UNLESS he improves customer experiences.

Awesome stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli. From the meet and greet at the airport Speed boat service to the island Restaurant food amazing Staff friendly and happy keep everywhere spotless We were fortunate to get a room upgrade on arrival Wow a bungalow over the sea Water around them very rough for any swimming Take swimming shoes if you do and you’d need to be a strong swimmer as the current is strong The resort and the people are beautiful A lot of surfing to watch from the bar too that was awesome Be prepared for expensive water sports and trips All in all a fabulous holiday and there send off was so lovely thank you for a fab 5 nights

This will be my forever holiday destination.. I tell you the staff are most friendly. The beach is amazing. I cant say the activities but it cost a bit. Anyway you walk hard to give yourself the best! I will come here again and again
