La Cabana Maldives

If you are looking for a great guesthouse on Maamigili look no further. The guesthouse is brand new and the rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. I even had a balcony with beautiful ocean views especially for sunset. The guys at the guesthouse will do anything to make you feel at home and organise whatever you like to do each day. Maamigili is the best place to see the whale sharks and probably cheaper as if you stay on an other island near by as the boats still come back each day to search for the whale sharks right out of Maamigili. The beaches on the island aren't comparable to the ones you will get if you would stay on a 5* resort island BUT why pay that price for a luxury resort if you can go there for day trips for just $25 and enjoy all the facilities and beaches and see a lot more then just one place? There is even a picknick island very close where you find amazing beaches and it only coast $5 for the day. I truly enjoyed my stay at La Cabana and I sure will go back there. I loved to explore many different islands from there as day trip and also have the whale sharks right off the island each day. Also the breakfast and food in general was perfectly fine and very recenable priced. And just a little note to all the people who mentioned "mosquitos" welcome to a tropical island :) bring or buy some spray on the island and you won't have any problems at all. There really aren't that many so no point to complain. Thanks a lot La Cabana Team 5*out 5*
