We were picked up from the airport by the staff which was after 11pm in the evening, they greeted us on arrival with cold towels and drinks, the whole experience was amazing from the staff, hotel ambiance, comfort and cleanliness , they were so helpful and welcoming in every way , we celebrated New Year with them which was a lovely experience and would highly recommend if looking for a small personal hotel with great service, Food was home cooked and delicious, Breakfast was basic but nice,

We arrived at 21:00 in Male and was picked up to hotel directly. We checked out at 05:00 next morning so it is value for money to have a few hours sleep before we go to the island.

The room was smallish but nice. Would definitely recommend!

Decent place to stay. But if you are planning to stay for views then this hotel does not offer ocean views unless you walk outside and turn on the street. Nice people and good food.

We used this hotel three days surrounding a liveaboard diving trip and found it very convenient and comfortable (Expedia, however, expects 3 reviews for these separately booked days...). My brother stayed an extra day at the end to make a later flight, and recommends the beachfront restaurant next door for eats and view. Be prepared for instant coffee, not brewed, at the hotel...(our otherwise wonderful boat was the same).

We used this hotel for 2 separate nights around a liveaboard dive trip. We had a bit of trouble linking up with the hotel driver on arrival, and ended up rent a taxi to get there (hotel then paid taxi). Transfers are NOT free. We rented two "business suites" to get two beds; these rooms are of adequate size and interestingly decorated. No elevator, but there is porter service for bags. Staff is very nice, although English comprehension is limited. Location is almost on the beach, safe neighborhood, nice to walk around. Food is ok. Only instant coffee is available... 10 minutes to airport and ferry to Male makes this hotel more convenient than staying in the city if you are just staying over prior to moving to a resort or liveaboard.

Don't expect reasonable buffet breakfast. As there were only fish curry, beans and egg of your choice available. The choice was too limited to enjoy breakfast. You're better off eating outside. It is 15 mins away from airport and from capital male you have to take ferry after going to the airport terminal

Was a little disappointed with this hotel. Firstly they send info telling you to wait for the airport shuttle. It wasn't there and had to call three times. Then they charge you for the return shuttle whend that was the discussed. Hotel room tv didn't work and there was no WiFi in the room at all. For the price I think there might be other options out there. Service was good and people were nice.

Our experience didn't start well - even after confirming our flight arrival times twice they still failed to pick us up, we had to call the hotel. We waited almost an hour and when we were finally picked up there were no transport options for our surfboards so they had to be stored at the airport for US$10 ea. When we got to the hotel we were checked into the wrong room and when they discovered this I had to get out of the shower and move to another (larger) room. Also noted that in both rooms the mini bars were warm. Staff and management were really very nice and have the best intentions but when they're busy the systems seem to break down. The rooms are adequate but be aware the beds are very firm.

This is our 2nd stay with the property. Both times we arrived at 1.30am and left at 6am. They sent a driver to pick up up from the airport and drop us off. This time we were slightly disappointed since our driver was not there when we arrived and had to wait 30 minutes or so, especially since we were traveling with 2 children. If I did not have children I would have just waited at the airport in between transfers.

The hotel was exactly what I was expecting, a good place to rest my bones for the next leg of our trip. Everyone was friendly, service was good, food wasn't bad either. Hotel was also quiet, that's important to me. My wife had no real complaints, and that's saying a lot.

Just stay overnight for the seaplane transfer. Good wifi , clean bed and not too expensive. That is good enough. Hotel locates in the Airport Island, so just ask the information desk to call the Hotel for car pickup, no need to take the boat shuttle to Male.

Was very happy with this hotel for our one night stay when we arrived late at night in Maldives before going to our resort the day after. Hotel staff picked us up on time and took us to the hotel in a very comfortable car. Greeted at the hotel with cool towels were promptly given our room because it was so late. Was also upgraded to a family room given we were travelling with a child. That was amazing! Next day breakfast was average given it is a smaller hotel I guess. Amenities are average but very clean and tidy and comfortable. Staff are extremely friendly.

i really enjoyed this hotel as a break away from male for the weekend. the old is pretty good - air conditioning wasn't great. fish curry in restaurant was excellent. huluhmale is one of those 1000 pound a night resorts but it is heaven when you are working in male. and le vieux nice inn is very good value for money
