The room was cozy and clean with a fantastic view of the forest and lagoon. All the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We enjoyed the breakfast hand delievered every morning and were very pleased with how tidy our room was after staff came in to clean. Overall it was a fantastic place and we would definitely stay here again!

My girlfriend and I had an excellent stay here. The rooms were very comfortable, and next to the lagoon. Views from the room and the property are amazing. The lagoon is a treasure, and didn't disappoint. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was amazing, and that we had everything we needed.

Boa Boa was our favourite stay this vacation. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The property is beautiful and all of the rooms were wonderful. We had the best sleep in the king sized beds!
Having access to the water and some free kayaks really added such a bonus to our trip. I highly suggest getting up early to watch the sunrise and do a little paddle.
There was lots of street parking for our car and the neighbourhood was very quiet. We look forward to our next day at Boa Boa and can’t wait to see what these amazing folks do next with their artistic talents.

Boa boa is a beautiful property which is unique. The location is close to town but not really easily walkable due to the nature of the road which makes it a little inconvenient. Free kayaks were brilliant for sunrise. Breakfast is beautifully presented but unfortunately not to my partner's taste. Would have been better to provide an option on check in for what to deliver such as just additional toast/spreads instead of the oat and fruit bowl as it was ultimately wasted each morning. Room was comfortable, but very small, needed to unpack and repack bags on the deck. The WhatsApp communication was great and had we stayed longer we would have definitely chosen some of the activities on site. The boat trip organised through hotel was lovely.

We had a great stay. The staff are lovely and the rooms clean and spacious. Amazing views of the lake from our balcony. Free kayaks which was a lot of fun! The views from the deck was stunning also. Breakfast, Coffe and water were included, which we enjoyed. The hotel is about a 10 min drive or 35 min walk into Bacalar. There's lots of great bars and restaurants there!
The only slight negative was the noise from the road at night but ear plugs worked well and we were in one of the rooms closer to the highway.
Definitely recommend staying here, we loved it. Hopefully be back again.
