Canada Central & Rooftop

The staff was fabulous, it was great to have food available at all times served with a smile, and everyone went above and beyond to make stay lovely. I particularly want to. acknowledge the extra assistance provided by Helly and the concierge. Their attention to us and acknowledgment of our stay and what Mexico City meant to us was wonderful. We would highly recommend Canada central and rooftop.

Staff was very accommodating! Centrally located to some attractions we wanted to visit. The breakfast was delious and the view from the roof top was pretty cool!

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was good too. Couldn’t get the TV to work but not a big deal unless you want to watch. Great experience.

Room was really small, no washcloths. Otherwise great stay close to everything friendly staff.

The room was as described. Large and roomy with everyone having enough room to be near one another but yet have some privacy. The hotel food was excellent with a large selection and a gorgeous view to enjoy your meal!

I truly felt very safe throughout my stay at this lovely hotel. Its prime location near the zocalo and several shopping centers made everything so easy to explore. Plus, the staff was wonderful and always so courteous, adding a warm touch to my experience.

Excellent stay at the Canada Central and Rooftop. The rooms are European style, meaning they are small, however you are not there to stay in your room! The room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. One of the outstanding features of the hotel was its rooftop cafe with great views of the historical part of Mexico City. Location was great, lots of restaurants and shops to visit if you want. The staff were friendly and helpful! From check in to check out everything was great. And it had one of the best breakfasts I have experienced in a very long time.

Booked a single double bed for 2, both the room & bathroom were spotless - just be aware that the rooms are much smaller than displayed. The walls are fairly thin so you can hear those next to you, but the location itself is fairly quiet despite being right downtown. The showers have the best water pressure however the bathroom can very easily turn into a pool if you’re not careful as the shower itself is very small which results in water spraying everywhere very easily. Front desk staff & cleaners were lovely. Breakfast was also very nice! We checked out early due to our flight and there was some confusion with the payment, which required a few extra steps on my part. I guess their normal payment system was down. Instead of my card being charged automatically upon arrival, I had to fill out a link with my payment information via WhatsApp. Seemed a little sketchy at first however everything went through with no red flags! Would stay again.

Rating 2 stars because the staff were excellent and always did their best to help. The room was clean. But this is the worst location for a hotel. It seems like a genuine mistake that a hotel would be here. Right outside the rooms is a nightclub that opens and starts BLASTING music at around 5pm, and doesnt stop until 2-3am. I am an extremely heavy sleeper and usually am not bothered with noise, ive slept in many big noisy cities and been fine. But this hotel also seems to have no sound proofing. So it sounds like you are sleeping directly in the club because of the reverberations in the walls. I can also hear the sounds of all the other guests but thats not as big of an issue. If id known i wouldn't be able to sleep until 3am, i wouldn't have booked this hotel. Its also in a pretty unsafe location compared to other parts of mexico city, but again the staff did kick out anyone suspicious and did their best to keep people safe

room was tiny, you could hardly walk. poor amenities: no blowdryer, barely enough towels, not enough toilet paper, a/c on the whole time, broken remote control, tiny elevator that fits 2 people. for vip, 2 guests and one mini bottle of wine and 1 wine glass.
