Arecas is an awesome place, if you enjoy the peace and quiet, to enjoy the Zihuatanejo Bay this is for you. The owner Juan Carlos is very friendly and nice to do business with. Their employees Jose and Yensi are super friendly and helpful in all of your needs. They can provide pretty much anything you need to make your stay more pleasant. Just overall an excellent place to stay. Food and service is too notch. Tip: you can access through playa la Ropa and walk to the hotel it's about a 15 min walk

By far the worst vacation experience I’ve ever had. Toilet and shower with no separation. Room was dirty. Hot water was nonexistent. Air conditioner broke after 3 days. Inconvenient to get there (only by boat across the bay). Beach was super crowded. Restaurants at the beach were mediocre at best.Got locked out of the bathroom when the door locked itself. We left after 3 days and was given a partial refund for the unused days. The ONLY good thing was the view of the bay where we hoped to watch the NYE fireworks. No office to complain to. Only communication was via texts. Super primitive in every way. At least the sheets were clean.

Way too many people on the beach during the day then a 6pm. Nothing! No food, no drinks. You are basically abandon on a desert island.
