Beautiful Spanish style villa, great rooms and amenities away from the noisy center city.

Place was very clean, staff friendly and helpful with directions and information.

Overall, really liked Casa de Adobe. The facilities and rooms are gorgeous, staff is very nice, however they claim to be 6 min driving from the downtown area and this is not true. It is approximately 15 minutes driving from downtown, which is pretty inconvenient if you were thinking of walking somewhere for dinner, etc.

Everything was good, staff was very nice. Recommended for people who like to be calm.

This was an amazing property! My family enjoyed the dining amenities that were a great balance of local cuisine with familiar dining choices as in the United States. The staff was friendly, mostly bilingual, and very friendly. I will definitely miss my stay and can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Casa do Adobe.

Great place, looks like new. The one restaurant with awesome food and service. The location is too far with horrible streets , at least the GPS uses the worst possible routes. In straight line just 5min into a low income area. The rooms also outstanding

Gorgeous accomodation with the nicest, most wonderful staff. Our room was spacious and spotless. The food is wonderful. Casa de Adobe is a 10-15 minute taxi ride north of the main area, so a quiet, location with good amenities close by and easy access to the main tourism areas of Oaxaca.

The courtyard swimming pool area very very nice. The staff was very nice.

When we arrived to check in the hotel did not have power or water. Obviously we were not going to stay there especially because they weren’t sure when it would be back on. We had to book another hotel last minute and did not stay here at all. I have tried to call every day to talk to the manager who is apparently the only one who can discuss a refund, but she has conveniently not been there every single time. It’s been almost a week so of them saying “she’ll be here tomorrow at 10” then me calling and she’s once again not there. Very stressful and frustrating experience.

The room was beautiful and clean however, the pool was cold and they never turned on the heat, not even in the Jacuzzi and we were looking forward to it. What’s the purpose of having one? First night we were there, we asked for ice and only came after several calls and late at night. We asked for coffee cups and they arrived the day we left. The worst part, on the first evening, due to a storm, they lost a transformer that caused us being left with out power and water till 3 pm the next day. We could not bathe, wash or flush till they brought in buckets of water from the pool. We get it, the storm is part of nature, but in a hotel, you would think they would have an emergency power plant especially if these storms happen often in the area. Apparently the staff has suggested to management that they invest in one but they have yet to approve the expense. For convenience, we had dinner in the hotel the day we arrived. It was a seafood buffet that lacked seafood options and the presentation was also lacking. We tried their breakfast and that was much better and convenient since it’s a bit far. In the end, we were disappointed and felt short changed. We were offered a massage and although we appreciated the offer we just didn’t have the time or the mood for it.

Really loved this hotel! The staff and driver outside the hotel were super friendly and we would definitely stay here again if we visit Oaxaca. The only issue we had was there was a thunderstorm and the hotel lost access to water. So for one day, there was no running water in the rooms, but that wasn’t really the hotel‘s fault. And they did everything to accommodate that until they got it fixed. There’s one restaurant on site which had really good food and drinks. The pool is amazing and heated, and the hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the centro. Ask for Alfredo if you need a ride anywhere, he’s the BEST! The only thing I could possibly complain about is the room didn’t stay that cold with the AC, but it wasn’t awful.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurants and swimming pool were great.
