Casa Oliva

I stayed at Casa Oliva recently and had a mixed experience overall. On the positive side, the location is definitely a highlight. It’s situated in a safe and pleasant area of Roma Norte, which made getting around easy and enjoyable. The apartment itself is quite spacious, and having a 24/7 doorman added a sense of security and convenience. There’s also a laundry room with a dryer, which is a nice touch for longer stays. However, there were several issues that made the stay less comfortable than expected. The hot water system in the apartment runs off a gas system, which in itself is fine, but there was a constant gas smell lingering in the air from the moment we arrived until we left. We did report this, but unfortunately there was no update or resolution during our stay, which was concerning. Cleanliness was another problem. The apartment did not feel properly cleaned, as we noticed dead bugs and stains on the bed sheets. Additionally, the water supply seemed to run out very quickly when showering, which was frustrating. For a stay longer than five days, the lack of housekeeping was also surprising and inconvenient. Overall, while the location and space are strong positives, the maintenance and cleanliness issues significantly impacted the experience.

Great location and such kind staff!

Staff was exceedingly welcoming and helpful. Our suite was gorgeous and we particularly loved the fact that our suite had two bathrooms. Would definitely return!

We had a great stay at Casa Oliva. We stayed in a two-bedroom flat with the cutest courtyard, which made the space feel especially charming and peaceful The highlight was the service. I was traveling with my daughter, and Juan and Lauro were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very safe and welcome throughout our stay.

Beautiful accommodations and great location!

The property is beautiful with an amazing courtyard and in a perfect location. We are unsure if there are house rules (quiet hours to enable guests to sleep) and if anyone enforces them or just got unlucky with inconsidearate guests in other apratments.

Five-star stay. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and filled with lush green plants that made it feel calm and inviting. The rooftop was cozy and perfect for lounging. The room itself had everything we needed, thoughtfully arranged and comfortable. We were warmly greeted on arrival, with a security guard on-site which added an extra sense of ease. The neighborhood was walkable, vibrant, and conveniently close to so many great spots. Would absolutely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at Casa Oliva. The staff were great, it was clean and quiet, and very conveniently located. I enjoyed the ability to do laundry. I would stay again!

Had a wonderful 7 night stay - we checked in quite late due to our flight arriving past midnight and they have a 24 hour security person who made check in seamless even at the late hour. Staff were kind and while they did not speak English, conversing with the in broken Spanish (on our end) / via translator app as needed was easy! Room (comfort apartment) was exceptional, clean, well stocked with full kitchen amenities, in suite laundry, and bathroom amenities and very quiet. Hotel is perfectly located - very walkable to many neighbourhoods! Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Our group had 2 rooms and neither had hot water in the 4 nights we were there - just luke warm to shower very briefly. One of the rooms was in the front and was loud at night. Would recommend requesting a room in the back. It was clean and felt safe. Very walkable area.

Casa Oliva is just the perfect stay. Accessible, lots of shops and restaurants around. Walkable to most landmarks and if you needed to get further, Ubers were always available and reasonably priced. Stunning property, very spacious, lots of facilities. Everything you’d need was provided and if you ran out of any supplies, the staff members were happy to replenish. Despite not speaking much Spanish, we were able to communicate easily and everyone was super nice!

Security was great, rooms were great, and the area is safe and walkable. If I was coming back to Mexico City I would definitely stay here again
