Great concept, vibes and super clean

Good basic Hotel with friendly staff.

I like this Hotel for a quick clean place to stay. However the last time, the owner or manager was there and he was very loud with friends until late in to the night. Very disrespectful to guests who need to wake up early.

Basic pid style hotel with co.fortable bed, a/c and a superb restaurant and bar. Pool looked immaculate and bathrrom/shower facilities were well built and spotless. The staff were outstanding.

Cool looking cylinder rooms, pool was great all property was super clean. Walkable to beach access. Very peaceful place to be at.

Have been here several times and had always been a great experience.

Truly unique property with a great restaurant where we all enjoyed our dinner and hanging out throughout the night playing games. The only downside is the showers do not get very warm and the rooms in the tubes are tight (we didn't mind the tightness). If you have lots of luggage, then not enough space for everything.

The staff is amazing and the place is really nice

Chango Mango is a great place for someone who needs a place to stay. So clean and good food. The only thing that is missing is storage for equipment. You may be able to get away with it as a kiting but a new winger would be very tight.

Horrible place. Do not go there.

The employees were excellent, the Jacuzzi was inoperative. I have a nerve condition in my lower back/legs & really needed it. Overall, a nice tiny room built out of a concrete pipe, good A/C, solar hot water & in the middle of a small town that’s beautiful. There is zero space for luggage/coolers, so you will need a car or storage area. We will go back, but expectations are now set…

Cool place, interesting concept. It was relatively clean and comfortable, staff was friendly. The rooms are tiny... so hanging out in them isn't really an option. This is not ideal in the summer or winter since it's soooo hot / windy, respectively, and there aren't any climate controlled common areas. There was some confusion at check in... one person told me breakfast was included and would start at 6am. When that time can't around, I was the only person in sight. A couple of hours later, workers were there, but told me breakfast wasn't included. I'd be willing to give this place another shot in high season if I only need a place to crash (not hangout).

Mi estancia en ChangoMango fue de 1 semana, en temporada baja, entonces me tocaron 4 días en los cuales básicamente fui el único huésped. Es algo extraño tener todo un hotel a tu disposición, pero nada malo. Desde el primer momento que llegué Andrea me recibió super atenta, explicandome todas las instalaciones, los servicios y actividades propias del hotel y cercanas en La Ventana. El primer cuarto que me asignaron estaba perfecto, sólo que escuché un goteo, resultó ser algún desperfecto del Mini-Split, Andrea me cambió de cuarto inmediatamente y toda la semana la pasé en el mismo cuarto sin detalle alguno. Traía carro de renta, entonces pasé poco tiempo en el hotel y anduve de turista por toda la zona. De cualquier forma, cada vez que llegaba Andrea me recibía preguntandome si todo bien, si me hacía falta algo, mejor servicio que cualquier concierge que haya visto. También me organizaron una excursión en velero saliendo de La Paz hacia la isla espíritu santo, en la cual me mandaron con hielera con bebidas y comida para el día. En la excursión, el capitán Alejando me llevó a snorkelear en un barco hundido, donde vi tortugas y una gran variedad de peces, también pasamos a una isla de leones marinos donde snorkelee nuevamente viendo el arrecife de la isla y nadando cerca de los leones marinos. El lobby / area común del hotel es muy acogedor y tienen música todo el día, la verdad no se quien esté a cargo del playlist, pero 100/100, música ambiental chill out.

This is a unique gem of a place, so welcoming that you feel right at home from the first second. In fact, we loved everything about Chango Mango! From its colorful, creative appearance, the beautiful and comfortable pods (each individually designed) to the refreshing pool and the open bar area, that fills every corner of this place with this cool and relaxed atmosphere. It’s super clean and they take great care of their special place. From the lounge area on the second floor, you have a beautiful view of the endless beaches of La Ventana, just a few minutes walk away, and the magnificent desert landscape that surrounds this area. We took a fantastic boat trip with them at a very reasonable price to look for orcas (no luck!) and other wildlife that lasted the whole day! We loved it so much, we initially planned to stay there just for one night but ended up staying for almost a week. And it wasn't just us, we met other people who had similar experiences. After all, it’s the people that make this place so special, from the owners Hugo and Maren to everyone who works there, like Andrea and Che. We came for a quick stop and left with a bunch of new friends!

Pod style hotel rooms with a lovely common area that has a pool and cafe/bar. Family friendly, if that's what you want. Great showers and hot water. Amenities minimal, all bikes on property were not useable due to flat tires.

Lovely people, made some fantastic friends. Great vibe just watch out for Andrea’s mezcalitas! They’re way too good. Thanks everyone for a great stay- see you soon I hope.

Hugo & Andrea are fabulous hosts and have developed a very unique experience with Chango Mango that invites guests to be social and interact in the lovely common areas. They go above and beyond in catering to guest needs.

The rooms were cute and cozy- just as expected! Shower and bathroom facilities were beautiful, brand new and clean. Heated pool was a bonus!

ChangoMango superó mis expectativas, las instalaciones impecables y funcionales (tienen co work space gratis para huéspedes con internet de Alta velocidad ), el staff hospitalario y eficiente a mis necesidades, la cama de lo más cómoda que he experimentado ( hotel 5 *). Tomé Clases de kitesurfing con ellos y fue de las mejores decisiones (el mejor precio y muy profesionales ) por último los masajes de Maura fueron la cereza del pastel durante mi estadía. En conclusión ChangoMango es un hotel 5 estrellas : limpieza, instalaciones funcionales, comodidad en la habitación, áreas comunes únicas , comida y bebidas DELICIOSAS, alberca templada , ubicación perfecta y todo a un precio Justo (incluso bajo). Volveré en verano al tour en bote!!
