Concierge Plaza San Rafael

This place is a trap. The pictures do not represent the state of the facility at all. There is no palapa in the common area. the place is run down and falling apart. There is no AC in the rooms. There is no wifi in the rooms. I stayed here for 4 of the 6 nights that I booked, and told myself that I enjoy camping and this was a step above camping. Then a storm came through and I had water pouring into my room in all areas of my room. This feels like an abandoned hotel that someone found a way to get power to, and started renting rooms out. The lady at the front desk and the maintenance guy were very pleasant. They did call the owner for me and the owner made zero effort to make this right. I also reached out to Hotels.com and they offered zero help or support. I asked them to investigate the place and I do not get the impression that they will. The view is amazing if you get an ocean front room. Bring a tent to set up and your cleaning supplies though. The pictures don't do it justice of how bad this place is. I wish I could post the videos I took.

TOTTALLY SCAM DONT GO! This hotel is under construction, there is no water, electricity or any service. their phone is not in service, The room they give me was dirty no towels, not even toilet paper. Stuff didn't give me any information, i asked for a relocation. They say it was my problem. I asked for a refund, they say no refund are made. I contacted expedia they said, booking was in process so they will check with hotel to see IF THEY AGREE TO REFUND MY MONEY, i had to pay transportation, another expensive hotel because couldn't find any rooms available. Horrible experience. I email the property haven't answer.

The property is not worth the priced

The area us pretty dead. Property and room falling apart with little maintenance ir poor repairs. It appeared to me the town is decaying for several years. No investment in the properties around while i understand that Covid had a great impact, i would not return..ever. Nothing to do. Beaches are not for swimming. Clean but strong currents

The pictures look better than the actual place, I'm guessing the pictures in the hotel description are outdated or were taken back when the place was new. The hotel was very run down. In the amenities it says lounge bar but we never found it. The doors to the room would jam and would not lock properly. There is no restaurant so you either have to bring your own food or pay at one of the many locations in the small town or on the beach where the food is extremely bland, bad quality and overpriced. The Hotel itself needs a lot of work and maintenance. There are no towels in the room, we had to keep asking and coming to reception to get them ourselves. The service is terrible. They also say there is free wifi but it doesn't reach any of the rooms. The best part about the place was the pool, also needs some maintenance but it served its purpose.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location, view and all the good places to eat nearby. It's very run down.

Arrived to the property only to find out it was closed, no body at the hotel.

The first room we stayed in had a huge gap above the door, making mosquitos and salamanders come in and out constantly. The receptionist at the time just told us to put a towel to cover the gap. The second room we stayed in, the water stopped working. Making us having to switch rooms a third time.

HOTEL IS OK FOR THE PRICE, UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS, MANY MOSQUITOS ON THE PROPERTY (PATIO, GARDEN,POOL). BEACH IS UGLY AND THE TIDE IS VERY STRONG. WEATHER OK FOR THE SEASON.

My partner and I checked into the hotel around 7:00 pm. There was never any HOT WATER and the room was so uncomfortably warm it was like a sauna! Around 8:30 the night watchman, the only employee at the hotel knocked on our door and said we needed to pay additional money. It was very strange and weird! I said no that was not correct and I would speak to them in the morning. In the morning I spoke to a woman and explained that when you book through hotels.com all fees were included. She insisted that I pay additional money. I walked her through the booking process online so she could see that the price for the room was exactly what I had already paid with hotels.com, and that I did not owe anything extra. She was very rude and then lied saying that the hotels.com price was incorrect. At this point I just wanted to get away from this hustler trying to shake me down for extra cash. I gave her the money and left, saying I would be calling hotels.com and letting them know exactly what shady dealings had transpired at this hotel. We travel a lot and have booked over 90 hotel nights this year alone. Hotels.com was wonderful as usual when I called them and they took care of everything for us. I hope this review will help other unwary foreigners from being taken advantage of by unscrupulous and dishonest people. Stay away from this establishment.... There are many other decent and honest businesses all around.

Don't waste your money or time!!!! This hotel is nothing like the photos. The rooms are DIRTY and need repair. The ceiling fan barely worked and the room was hot, stuffy and like an oven. The noise was unbearable and we could barely get a few hours of sleep. When we tried to address the issues the staff was rude, and uncaring. No tv, no airconditioning, no restaurant and dirty... No thank you.

This hotel looks a lot better in pictures that in person, the hotel is ok, right by the beach which is great, but the condition of the rooms are really not good, no A/C, old, not so clean, and there are a lot of mosquitos. Pool is nice, and the food by the beach is amazing. They receive you with fresh coconuts to drink. Little town of Cuyutlan is good to walk by. Beware, because this beach is open and not safe because of sharks.
