Cyan Cancun Resort & Spa

the property was nice a it has a gorgeous pool and has a private beach; however the property needs to be repainted, elevator’s flooring needs to be fixed, facilities in rooms such as faucets, showers need to be replaced as they are old and rusty; workers are very polite and helpful especially alberto and edwin in the dining area.

We booked a room with jacuzzi, facing the ocean and infinity pool. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, jacuzzi had hot water, the food in the restaurant was great as well.

Even been physically threatened by staff? If not and you feel you are missing out, stay at the Cyan Cancun "resort and spa" They have some ridiculous policy of having to check the room before you can check out? I told them I was running late for an international flight and they had 4 minutes until my uber showed up and I started walking out. They had a security guy follow me out saying I couldn't leave yet. I told them I was leaving as soon as my ride arrived, then they brought in a second security guy trying to block my exit. Essentially trying to threaten me physically if I left. again told them they now had 3 minutes to check the room and essentially begged them to physically touch me. I've never stayed at a place that has this policy that they must check the room before I'm allowed to leave. I left my room cleaner than it was when I checked in (not terribly difficult to acheive) and they had my card on file so I wasn't worried about them checking the room, but why? this is NOT a policy I've ever encountered. Don't let the pictures fool you, the pool is nice but the rest of the hotel is an absolute dump. Disgusting and dirty and the food at their "restaurant" was completely inedible. To call itself a resort is laughable. I'll never stay there again and I'll make sure to send this review on every site I can. I travel to resorts all over the world and this was a motel at-best. But facilities aside, for their staff to threaten me if I left before rm inspection?

Good hotel. The bed was great. All my concerns were taking care of.

Desde que llegue hasta el dia que salimos estuvo exelente A excepcion de un modulo que esta a un lado de recepcion (que nada tiene que ver con el Hotel) te ofrecen paquetes por un precio y luego te cobran otro mas alto a tu tarjeta de credito y luego no quieren honrar el precio original. si vas agarrar un tour estas personas no son nada recomendables. respecto al hotel en si, son todos muy amables especialmente Brenda en recepcion y Guillermo el Bell boy. durante nuestra estancia todos los dias iva el personal de limpieza a limpiar el cuarto y cambiar sabanas. esta a pasos de la playa con excelente vista al mar.

Save yourself the headache and disappointment- Do NOT GO TO CYAN!!! Staff speaks NO english - tried giving me a 2 bed room facing trash parking lot and street when I paid for king bed ocean view with balcony- poolside bar completely empty - no service for pool area - my room smelled of sewage and mildew - staff has horrible attitude. I had multiple activities of which they came to my room to notify me - but when it was time to go back to airport my transport arrive and they made absolutely no attempt to notify me - I’d rather stay in a hostel then this nasty empty desolate needs renovation real bad …air conditioning hit or miss in room …it was just an overall horrible experience

The location is good, the pool is very nice, the room is large and pleasant, only the shower had cold water.

I liked the pool and beach area. I did not like that the mattresses on the pool deck are on old wooden pallets. I did not like that we had no internet and also sewer gases in our room and when we complained we were downgraded to another room even though the hotel was less than 1/4 full. For our inconvenience we should have had equivalent or better room.Also when asked for a 3 hour later checkout we were charged 400 pesos. Won't recommend this resort

First, the staff, absolutely amazing! So kind, helpful and just great! We stayed 13 days and nights. The food was delicious and quite expensive. The hotel is quite run down and with that is fairly dirty. The first week and a half you couldn’t see out the restaurant windows, they were so dirty. They cleaned them when we had 2 days to go. There is a lot of dust on all the chair braces, when I swiped an inch, the pile was about a cm high. Very bad! We stayed on the lagoon side, I thought the lights of Cancun would be great in the evening. But it was SO noisy I didn’t sleep well the whole trip. The water went off 3 times, one was scheduled along with a power outage so we worked around that. The second one was first thing in the morning, needless to say not being able to use the washroom in the am didn’t go over well! It was extremely irritating actually. The third time I was done and couldn’t wait to go home. Would not recommend, even if you are looking for a bargain.

Claims to be all-inclusive but nothing was included. Food at lobby bar and restaurant were not included. Restaurant tried to scam us by claiming cash register was broken and overcharging us, until we asked to see an itemized receipt at which point the price was magically reduced. Food at restaurant was bad. Creperie was closed for “remodeling.”

All good, perfect except everyday water supply issue in the morning when you want to get ready and take a shower

Was a great place for the price.

The property looks nothing like the pictures. It’s dirty, bathroom is terrible, can’t control the air, door lock was broken. Fridge has rust inside and the chair had spots all over. DONT EVER STAY HERE!! Was supposed to stay there for 5 days but I left after one day.

Indudable is most Stay iff you locking for a plane to stay whit good deal and magnificent view and adventure all around.
