The room is comfortable. The mattress could use a topper, is a bit stiff, could feel the springs. Towels were smelly, like humid smell. Other than that the balconies have a great view of the church domes and you are in the heart of the city, walking distance to the main park. Can see the callejoneadas from the balcony, is always fun. Overall is pretty nice stay.

This is a good budget choice for Guanajuato. It is conveniently located, right in the heart of the city. It was easy to drive to and parking arrangements were handled with professionalism and no fuss. The bed and bathroom are great.

I don’t like because of the noise At night I know it’s a festival and it’s fine , but in the morning it’s the same or more noisy because it’s in front of the school, otherwise it’s just perfect location.

Great place if you want to be close to everything! The people were attentive to our needs. There was noise the first night since the callejoneadas walk by outside but the rest of the nights there was not. I would stay here again

They lied about parking you don’t have access to your car you have to use a taxi more money, has a blackout no help not even a candle stuck in room 3 hrs

Was good except didn’t have a kettle or firm to make my coffee in the morning.. also rooms are close and some guest were very late at night (1am) heating things up on the microwave just outside my door

Loud Music until 4am Do not stay here if you want a peaceful sleep,loud music all night until 4 am. We got no sleep at all,which ruined our stay. Tricky place to find as taxi driver was lost.. Advantages- great view,and only 5 mins walk from main square and restaurants

Noise

Excellent location and comfortable, well decorated rooms. It is noisy at night, but hey, it's Mexico. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, the roof top patio is under construction.

Enjoyed my stay here. Bed was very comfortable. Water hot. Would’ve been nice to have coffee available in the room or common area. Location is great. Close to everything. The only drawback from that was the noise from the bar crawl (I think that’s what that was?) that was in the street under my balcony. First night there I thought it was kinda cool but it was every night and goes on until the wee hours. Not the hotels fault , it just worth mentioning. I used earplugs and slept fine. Oh, I suggest bring cash pesos for payment.

This is a small guesthouse. There is no signage from the street, you just have “to know” that is up the little alley. The keys are old and clunky and you have to lock/unlock the front door every time you enter and exit. Authentic, but unsafe. The balcony is tiny. You can’t really even stand out on it, about a foot long, but the view is spectacular. The balcony overlooked the Street where the Callejonadas start their “parade” every night, and it was very cool to see and hear them from the hotel. The downside, and it is a big one is the nightclub next door - Super loud! And it goes until 3 AM most nights. To make matters worse they were doing construction on the roof, so my plan to sleep in was destroyed from loud banging all day -shook the room. Also bits of ceiling were falling on me while they were working. I can’t recommend a stay given how loud the nightclub is. You will be tempted by the location and cute interior of the rooms, but the trade off with the noise is not worth it.

Muy céntrico y acojedor, el personal con excelente actitud de servicio y dan muy buena atención. El estacionamiento sí es un problema y un gasto adicional importante 250 pesos aprox por dia. Sugiero que cambien las chapas de las puertas por algo automático como en cualquier hotel, es un rollo con las llaves a la antigua

Worst hotel due to loud noises and rude employees. Stay away.

Clean, charming, and excellent location, very very close to everything but far enough to sleep without noises. The staff was gracious and hospitable, and the bed was very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!
