Hotel Alikar Huatulco

The hotel staff in specific reception are not helpful oh nice. You hear a lot of noise from the dishes.

We recently spent a night at hotel, in our first room the AC was making a loud sound. They moved us immediately but unfortunately you could not pick up the WiFi inside our room, you had to go into the hall. I needed a small amount of ice to keep medicine cool and was charged 15 pesos each time. The pool the first night was unusable as a large group had taken it over and it was chaos.The staff were excellant. Location is ok,Decor is nice and place was clean .

Nice property and it is walking distance to beach and city center. Breakfast is good and property is well kept. It’s very load on the weekends.

The staff were very lovely & accommodating to any questions I had. Room was spacious & clean. Room was on top floor facing the pool & was extremely noisy up to 10pm when the pool closed. Being a 4-star hotel, I would’ve expected a bit more in the rooms - only bath towels. No hand towel, bath mat or face washers. Shampoo/cond was in a sachet. No pool towels provided. Good wifi connection throughout hotel. AC in rooms, although it was extremely noisy. Foul odour at the pool - not sure if it was from garden fertiliser or the cat that was wandering around (which I also think is not suitable for a hotel) - I wasn’t able to stay at the pool for this smell. The lounge chairs weren’t comfortable either.

Wonderful staff made my stay very comfortable. Very convenient location as well.

The hotel was good. No english speaking staff. Small pool area and very busy with local families which was nice to see.

The property is very well situated & certainly has all the basics in place. Staff in reception & those who responded to some minor issues were helpful & efficient. I also appreciated the fact that they were able to get me into the first available room after my very early morning arrival. Property was very clean but bedding & towels were pretty threadbare. What left a very poor impression was the terrible service in the on-site restaurant delivered by an experienced staff person. Tone was abrasive and my order was not delivered while many others who had arrived after me - was. He was then very aggressive at the end in his attempts to sell me products (mezcal, coffee, etc.) that he could provide me with. I solved that issue by having breakfast in another hotel on my 2nd morning.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Clean rooms and patio to enjoy a drink. I would definitely stay here again when i visit Huatulco again. They also have a restaurant with good food.

All the staff was friendly and they answered all the questions I asked.

This was a good hotel close to the big grocery store super Che. Nice rooms, good ac, pool looked fine but spent most days at the beach and never got in it. I usually stay at Hotel VB next door but considering this was almost $ 35.00 per night less expensive I feel it was a great value.

El hotel estaba en buena area. La muchacha de la recepcion se porto super bien con nosotros. Muy amable y con mucha paciencia sobre explicandonos sobre los tours.

Was totally fine for a place to spend a night before moving on

simple place to crash for a night in comfort. Good location, rooms are climate controlled. Staff should clamp down on people making loud noise in the pool at late hours... But on the 3rd floor with the fan and AC going it wasn't really an issue for me.

Great hotel, we stayed for 2 week, a real Mexican feeling Staff where wonderful and very accommodating Would highly recommend Only downfall was I wished they had a mini fridge and coffee maker Great spot
