Hotel Hondo

Everything was awesome at the room and surrounding areas. Could use a toaster or microwave. But, all in all was so fun.

Great time at Hotel Hondo! So thankful for the AC and quiet area where we could decompress. Super easy walk into town to many good restaurants as well as beach. Staff was incredibly easy to communicate with and met us stay a couple hours later before hitting the road to our next place. Thank you!!

Our Stay at Hotel Hondo was exceptional! Our hosts Tori and Patrick couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was so cool and boho! I’m obsessed with the decor. Location doesn’t get better. If you’re in LB this stay is a must. Support these 2, their doing a great job!!

We stayed 4 nights in the design room. Overall it was a good experience, but there were few things we did not love. First thing we saw when we stepped in the room was broken furniture. The “massage” shower was more of a fight not to get splashed into face. The pool is nice from one side of the view … from the other its next to a dusty parking lot. No pool towels. And room cleaning is upon request.

Great place to stain in LB. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone.

A ticked away hidden gem. The room had a kitchenette, large bathroom and a lovely King Bed. Very well appointed room. Thr proeroty has a lovely pool to dip in or lunge beside. The contact person was prompt to answer any questions.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Amber was an incredible property manager. She really made the stay delightful. We spoke English the whole time and so easily (She's from Canada). She helped us find things for the kitchen that we needed, like a lemon-squeezer, and helped out when our freezer wasn't working. Amber was friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her and she was very respectful and cognizant of how much and when we wanted to interact. She helped us find affordable and authentic places to eat. (caution: some restaurants close in Aug/Sept!) We spent a lot of time at the pool & liked the architecture and comfy seating in the sun and shade alike. The water was warm because it was summer out, but we didn't mind too much. Would suggest the hotel get a bigger shade-device to cover the water / pool area. We stayed like 4 days. So relaxing. Worth it to do the short hike to the waterfall that's like an hr away from here. (just be careful, google led us down some JANKY roads than our tiny car was not really ready for (we saw hubcaps in the trees!))

Good value, attentive staff. Pretty good location, I was there in off season so a lot of the restaurants were still closed.

This property was far too expensive for what it’s worth. The room is fine, but we found our experience was overshadowed by continuous interactions with on-site staff. We also felt uneasy after an article of clothing went missing from our room one day while we were out. We felt the pictures on the listing were a little deceiving and were disappointed on arrival.

No one present at check in . I did receive an email the next morning w info and virtual checkin Luckly the other guests knew which room was ours. We arrived at 3 pm ck in time. The housekeeper the next day met us and asked us if we need anything. WiFi password was not posted in room but for the next day. Loved the small quiet and clean hotel.

Nice little place that had a very comfortable king bed that seems to be a rare find in Mexico. Great shower but was very difficult to figure out how it worked and would recommend changing it to a more conventional style. Strange that there was only one small window in the kitchen but Great location and great value. Maybe suggest that the owner purchases a couple of luggage stands or maybe a dresser for the guests because there was nowhere to put luggage and a towel rack or hook to hang towels. It's the few little things that would make this place just a tad bit better. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing & cosy

Hotel charmant situé dans un très bel environnement. Prise de possession très facile et rapide. Les lieux sont très propres et bien aménagés. La chambre bien décorée est cependant petite, sombre et le mobilier de table est inconfortable.
