Great budget hotel with fantastic pool. Staff are lovely and good Mexican food restaurant next door

Quite, friendly atmosphere and walkable to town and beach. Good value for the money. Rooms could use a little refreshing.

Decent Stay, but the common Kitchen facilities was a Letdown The on-site staffs were the only 5-star part of this hotel—very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but as expected for the price. The bed was okay, but horrible lumpy pillows. Privacy was lacking since the rooms overlook the pool and are very close together. The biggest issue was the common kitchen—it was dirty, disorganized, and lacked essentials like plates, cups, cutlery, and glasses. There were plenty of pots, pans and had a microwave and fridge, but without basic items, it was frustrating. We suggest the hotel provide these essentials with a deposit system for guests. When traveling, you don’t want to buy kitchenware just for a short stay.

The room is in a bad state of disrepair. They do NOT provide adequate amenities (no shampoo, no cups or glasses, no coffee, etc). The room is also not what I would call clean by any stretch. There was mold in the bathroom and dirt of the shelves. The bed is extremely hard and the pillow are cheap little foam one. They do have a water cooler at the front, but you need your own cups, glasses or bottles to get some. Not a place I would ever consider staying again.

Our room wasn't as clean as id like. It needed the floor scrubbed and some spots on the walls. However, it was bug free! We certainly enjoyed the pool and our outdoor area.

Beautiful property, inviting pool that was just the right temperature. Very clean, well kept property and very clean rooms. Lovely place to stay and so close to La Ropa beach.

We loved it. Eddie the front desk manager won hour heart on the first evening we checked in. We noticed that the bathroom floor of our unit was very wet – the toilet was leaking. We brought it to his attention & within 10 minutes he had a new water cable hooked up and the drip/leak was fixed. Awesome! Then he saw our camping cooler – and without even asking he brought a small refrigerator into our room – once again noticing and taking the initiative – just amazing! We would definitely be happy to stay there again – the outdoor kitchen is a nice touch – Only one thing to improve on add more glassware and more silverware. The owner Juan, Was delightful. We can see why his employees are so wonderful – the apple does not fall far from the tree. The place just needs a little bit of TLC – a little paint. Thanks KC & Cindy

Relaxing and quiet location. Close to the beach, good restaurants in the area. Has an outdoor cooking are. The pool is nice to have. Great staff

good location! Close to bus lines and within walking distance to Playa La Ropa (5 Minutes). Good crrew, and the amenities like a completge kitchen and barbecue outside. And smal but nice pool.

Wasn’t impressed. Booked this hotel based on reviews just for the night. Liked the near by beach but the hotel itself could really use a renovation. Couldn’t get hot water in the shower. Don’t know if it was just our room or what. Nonetheless not enjoyable when all you want to do is shower and go to bed.

Stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed. Small pool just out side my room was clean and in good condition. Room was clean, hot water in shower, air conditioner and fan worked perfectly. Staff was friendly and very helpful given the language barrier. 3 excellent restaurants within 5 minute walk. All in all a good experience.

The hotel has a great location for catching the little buses to go into down or the marina. Great restaurants just up the street, Jungle pizza, Sixtinos and a great Italian place a few blocks walk. the only negative about the hotel was that, on the first day, a piece of woodwork from the closet fell down and cut and bruised my girlfriend, when I mentioned it to the staff they basically changed the subject so the conflict went away. I felt that this was very unprofessional. It would have been fair to give us a small discount or a night for free.
