Hotel Misión Los Cocuyos

It was beautiful and peaceful. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The hotel is a beautiful property, but it starts showing the time passing by. Hopefully, the administration can keep it modern, updated and functional for many years to come. The room was big, and the bed was very comfortable and clean. The surrounding area is just marvellous! The mountains, vegetation and towns are breathtaking. I want to come back!

Internet is not good, due to long distance from Internet Infrastructure. Recommends Sallite Internet for better service to online remote work guests.

Unfortunately we arrived at dark and left at 8:00 the next morning. VERY nice hotel.

Here are the positives: very nice, accommodating staff, good breakfast, nicely kept grounds. Here are the negatives: hotel is right off the freeway so the rooms (not the cabins) are VERY noisy, particularly with big trucks carrying coffee and sugar cane all night long. Also, the hotel has conventions and holidays and they rent the space for celebrations which add to the already noisy rooms. Bathroom was VERY dirty, shower curtains unwashed, mold in the tub, old, ragged towels, unworkable bathroom handles. There is no coffee maker in the room and had to pay extra to get one, no iron, bad internet connection. Note: I sent a prior review to Orbitz and was surprised that the staff received it almost immediately!!. The administrator offered another room - an upgrade which we turned down as we had one night left and did not want to have to move (the cabin was far). Still, it was a nice gesture and they tried to do the right thing.

Staff very friendly and caring, excelent service at the restaurant. Everything very clean, quite and a beautiful park surrounding the building.

No tiene clima las habitaciones ninguna y solo hay ventiladores no se pudo dormir en toda la noche

Les falta mucha limpieza, en las habitaciones en las esquinas en larte superior tienen varios nidos de arañas (telarañas) y tambiem en las escaleras de acceso a las habitaciones hay "muchas telarañas. Las planchas para planchar la ropa, que tienen son antiguas y en mal estado, son planchas q no tienen el sistema de vapor. Y de la plancha literal, estan quemadas y manchadas (porq la plancha no tiene el recubrimiento de ceramica, por ser antiguas y/o obsoketos los modelos de plancha) al planchar una camisa el dia 17 de mayo 2025, la plancha como estaba sucia, me mancho una camisa. Ademas tienen apagadores y contactos viejos, etc.

Nos gustó mucho el hotel. Un lugar para disfrutarse, la atención, la comida, las instalaciones, todo muy bien

El hotel está padrísimo la verdad me gustó lo único que si le vi detalle es que por el precio mi habitación no tenía clima solo un ventilador que pues la verdad no abastecia muy bien pero todo lo demás me pareció perfecto un lugar muy tranquilo y muy bien para conectar con la naturaleza puedes caminar y también te ofrecen servicios como temazcal spa

Excelente hotel, tanto para descansar como para divertirse y disfrutar de la naturaleza, en compañía o solo.
