I liked the property because : - structure of the building -terrace - Very good organization for check-in and check-out. I didn't like the property because: - the bed frame was broken and when we moved it made noise. - I think it would be good to distribute families better as babies were crying in front of our room.

Considering the difference in language the staff were very patient and accommodating. We liked the character of old Mexico. The hotel was ideally situated in the historic district. Great coffee shop right outside. Only negative did not open till. 8.30. Would definitely stay again. Thankyou.

The property is beautiful & the rooms are decent. I came with my family and I do not think they are kid friendly. I felt very judged most of the time. If you are a couple staying here, it is great. And in a great location, everything is walking distance.

La habitación era muy reducida y para nada era como la mostrada en la foto. Las escaleras fatigosas y riesgosas. Pedimos con vista a la calle y no se podía abrir para salir al balcón. No tenía armario. Fue decepcionante. Estuvimos una hora allí y mejor nos fuimos.

When we book the hotel the pictures look like rustic stile but when you there the room is completely deferent. Then we found coco roaches in the bathroom

Excellent location within Guanajuato. The room itself was very spacious with a gorgeous view of the city from the balcony. There is no elevator, so carrying heavy suitcases up the stairs was a bit of a hassle. The staff is courteous and helped with tour reservations and to get taxis. There is no in room coffee service provided, and we were given two 350ml bottles of water, so it was a bit of a hassle having to go get coffee and water whenever we needed it. Aside from those minor areas of improvement, the hotel is definitely a great place to stay.

I booked a room with a balcony and city view and didn't get what I booked, I brought it up with the receptionist and was told there was nothing they could do, wouldn't even refund me the difference to a low end room... they're more worried about their towels n sheets then the actually hospitality...the parking is 1km away too just so you know

As of February 2020 The location = amazing Service staff = very helpful Rooms = charming but no overhead fan Mattress = comfortable Pillows = disgusting and old Sheets = cheap Lacks small things that makes a basic charming room a little oasis where you can rest after a long day as a tourist.

Everything was great except our room had a sewer gas issue. The hotel knew about it because they installed an air freshener. It didn't help. The bathroom filled with sewer gasses and we tried stuffing towels in the drains to stop it. The window was bricked up after they added a new level to the building so the room remained damp, warm, and smelly. It was a shame because it was a really beautiful place. Avoid room #14.
