The interior is lovely. The location is perfect to visit the botanical gardens as well as several museums. The glass elevator goes up six floors with a view down over the breakfast area. The desk staff and porters were all very nice.

The hotel is old, and does not get proper maintenance. The rooms are clean enough, but it doesn’t feel clean. The walls are paper-thin and it gets very noisy at night. I could hear the person next door blowing their nose! I also heard all the conversations el people in the rooms next to mine. I had to play music on my phone so I could sleep because of the noise. They only provide bath towels, no hand towels or towels for stepping out of the shower. No tissues either. Only toilet paper available. No room service. Do not recommend if you actually want to rest and sleep at night.

I liked the location of the Hotel San Francisco l. It was close enough to the Plaza without all the noise. The service was excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast and will stay there again the next time I go to Toluca.

For the price it was a 7/10. The building is run down and older but everything was very clean. They definitely clean everything well. I liked that they have smart TVs. That was a plus. We did have an issue trying to leave bags before check in. Once we talked to a manager that issue was resolved. The lobby area is nice and location is great. You can walk to the cathedral and the shops nearby. They have a good bakery in the corner.
