We booked this hotel last minute as our travel plans were altered by protesters blocking the highway to Puerto Escondido. Very glad we decided to stay here! The hotel was very pretty, quiet and clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and there are some great restaurants nearby. My only negative was the rock-hard beds which, for some reason, tend to be the norm for smaller hotels in Mexico. Would definitely stay here again (if they provide a bed topper)!

This property is centrally located in downtown Oaxaca, there’s plenty of shopping and dinning in the area. The hotel staff was professional, attentive and extremely welcoming. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel on my next visit and highly recommend to family and friends!

Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable, perfect location. Close to everything. Staff was excellent. Enjoyed coffee in the courtyard in the morning. Would highly recommend

Very good location ! Staff is friendly. Alex and Benito are very approachable and make the stay smooth and easy. The only thing is the tv which only offers streaming options.

What a lovely hotel in a wonderful place! Oaxaca itself is a charming, beautiful city - and the same can be said of Hotel Tabaá. We booked it last minute, with no real expectation, but we so impressed with both the quality of the hotel and the service. The owners and all the staff are so friendly…giving tonnes of advice and friendly conversation. The rooms are lovely - clean, spacious and lovely minimal decor. The outside area is so cosy and warm! Also - great to see somewhere using refillable bottles and soaps. Would 1000% return. Great value for money.
