We had a great weekend, we live in Playa del Carmen so we are no strangers to the coast life, but this great little island gives us an opportunity to relax. The hotel was perfectly located in the middle of town with proximity to everything, super clean and the staff ready to help. We loved our weekend there. And just a block from the hotel there is this great restaurant "La Parrilla de Juan" best steak ever and if you are into fish, he brings out the catch of the day, whatever he caught that morning. Left you a pic of the view of the sun setting from our room. #nofilter

The hotel was actually pretty nice but it did not have an air conditioner, if I stayed there by myself I wouldn't of mind, but I had my girlfriend with me. The room is probably better if you were solo by yourself and it's right next to the beach so I don't think people would even be inside of the room for long and it doesn't have a TV which is even better for me.

The location was great, right by the town square and by the hot spots and restaurants. They cleaned the room every day and the man attending us was great. But there were several roaches. I know that the big ones were just from outside and the front door did not reach the bottom of the floor so they could easily get in but there was two small roaches that are infestation of the property and that was disgusting and made us very uncomfortable at the hotel.

I opted for the upgrade to a queen bed. The bed was nicer but the rest of the room was not worth the $80 USD price tag. There are other places around at better prices.

It was as we expected. Clean room . Yet it was disappointing to have a very small room. Also we stayed 2 nights and they haven’t changed our towel. Shower had hot water but unfortunately no streaming

Great location just a few steps from the town center square and a few steps from the beach. Rooms are good size, especially the queen rooms which have a small living area and a cocineta. There is one queen room #7 that has a very good ocean view on the top floor. Higher rooms are quieter as some lower rooms are by the street. Helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Small swimming pool is kept very clean. Rooms are also very clean. Mattress was super comfortable. A/c works ok. For those that need TV there are NONE! Also internet is very weak and sporadic due to one antenna serving the entire island. Good value room especially during low season.

Demasiado caro para lo que se ofrece, por la noche no hay nadie que pueda apoyarte, no hay teléfono para si quiera comunicarte a la recepción. En la primera noche hubo gente hasta la media noche en la piscina tomando y no se pudo reportar pues no hay nadie en la recepción. La ubicación excelente, la atención de la recepcionista muy buena, la camarista mantuvo todo muy limpio.

The hotel had oversold the room we reserved, so they placed us in a cheaper room and warned that no refund would be given. Next day we were out and upon coming back we discovered the staff had moved all of our belongings without or consent to another room. They left my laptop and passport laying on a chair in the hallway for hours and USD$100 was missing from a wallet we left in the room. Staff refused to acknowledge any of this and also refused to contact the manager, they claim he shows up only on saturdays. STAY AWAY!

Likes: friendly helpful staff, close to beach Dislikes: no safe in room, no a/c (there is a ceiling fan and floor fan), 1/2 block from beach band that plays loud music until the wee hours of the morning, in order to ventilate room you must sleep with sliding glass door open which does not lock
