From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt welcomed and attended to. Every single member of staff from front desk personnel, to security, to housekeeper, and down to the breakfast lady were very professional and courteous. The beds were comfy. The view was impeccable. Breakfast was made fresh and very delicious. The resort has 24/7 gated security. There is a boardwalk with easy access to the beach. The pool has rocks you can sit on for great photo ops and the jacuzzi was soothing. There was a security guard which was off duty at the time that we bumped into on the boulevard. He took it upon himself to stop and ensure myself and my two daughters were safe and didn't need anything. That was above and beyond his duties and I wish I would have gotten his name. I didn't ge the opportunity to thank him before we left the hotel, but I am so grateful for him. Thank you so much for an incredible vacation experience!! Laos Mar we will definitely be going back soon. Primeramente Dios.

This is a little unassuming gem that I’ve stayed at twice, just wish it had a mini fridge. Clean and super close to beach using the walk path. I like the breakfast that’s included, worth an easy $12-15 somewhere else! Staff is friendly and the live music at Tapeo next door is nice! Grounds are clean. Great for a couple nights stay. If you don’t want to pay condo prices, check this place out. The beds are comfy too, more on firm side but work for me and I’ve got all kinds of aches!

The 'desert view standard room' we were assigned was no where close to the advertised space. Our view was toward a parking lot, the fixtures and furniture were old and well worn, the mattress was placed on a homemade wooden platform without a box spring, there was no refrigerator. The front desk staff said they were unable to break a 200 peso bill into smaller bills and offerred no apology, and the breakfast buffet was not really worth eating.

Our stay at Laos Mar Hotel was just ok. We were on the second story and none of the balconies had chairs to sit out on. The pool was not heated. They did not have any beach chairs to use on the beach and the staff was not to happy about guest using pool towels on the beach. Our room was clean but the soap and shampoo and conditioner that they provided was pretty much for one use, very small. In the shower no place to put the little bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner but on the floor. I don't think i would come back to this hotel.

Fabulous hotel as long as you don’t require any sleep. Obnoxious onsite amplified karaoke going till 3 am. Selena is rolling in her grave.

the room was clean but the balcony door was not working properly. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was good but the restaurant food was excellent. The pool was cold but the hot tub was fine. We were able to walk across the street to the beach which was very nice. There was a live band playing each night. we had a very pleasant and relaxing time. The location and the price was good.

The bed topper and the walls were dirty. The bathroom was so dark you had to leave the door open to see. The restaurant was not open. The staff was great, and the property was clean.

They allow noise in the pool until 10 pm and that is terrible because the hotel allows horrendous music in full volume in the pool and bothers the guests and do not respect the complaints there are quieter hotels than this
