Ma Petite Maison

We had a wonderful stay at Ma Petite Maison. Our room had a great view, the air conditioning worked great, and the light, simple breakfast in the morning in the yard was a nice touch. Great location, friendly staff, and easy check-in. Be sure to send them a message via Whatsapp after you book with Expedia to confirm your reservation.

Loved our stay at Ma Petite Maison. Staff were very friendly and the room comfortable. Only negative would be the shower, definitely needs a showerhead. Really close to the centre of town and easy to find from the highway. If/when I am back in Tepoztlan I will stay there again. Note they only accept cash and staff have limited English at best but will try with you.

Different to what is stated in Expedia´s booking, the hotel demands for you to arrive at 2 pm, else they cancel the reservation, eventhough it is guaranteed by a credit card. The hotel is ideal, great value for the money, but the booking process is quite misleading and not at all reliable through expedia as it is not respected by the hotel. It would be best to book directly with the hotel.

Charming, no frills hostel with friendly staff. Paco in reception made us feel very welcome.

The hotel was centric and close to everything. Very comfortable and pleasant.

We paid $520 US Dollars for a week's stay which equates to $74 per night to book. We stayed in the "luxury suite" which has a balcony. While I'd considering staying here again if it were significantly cheaper, at this price I would definitely choose another hotel. Unless you consider hot water and air conditioning to be "luxury", there was nothing luxury about our stay. The good things: - Consistently hot water in the shower - Air conditioning - A great view from the balcony - Comfortable bed - A secure place to park our car - A good location, just a few minutes walking to the main square The bad things: - The price is much too high for what you get. - They advertised daily housekeeping but we only got one cleaning during our 7-night stay - The "free breakfast" was bad (just a plate of fruit, weak coffee, and burnt toast) - The floor of the room was so dirty that our socks and feet turned black quickly. It seemed like they hadn't mopped in months. - The shower head was really old, dirty, and resulted in an uncomfortable shower. - The provided toiletries such as shampoo and body wash seemed like very low quality. At $74 USD/night I'd expect high quality shampoo and conditioner. No conditioner was provided. - Poor wifi. They only have a single wifi network for the entire hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor (what mexicans call the 2nd floor), and the wifi signal was pretty weak. (speeds of about 2mbps download)

The location is great! The grounds and room were exactly what I imagined and what was advertised. I loved the view, the large windows, and the air conditioning made it ice cold...just the way I like it! The manager and staff were friendly, hygienic, and patient with my limited Spanish. My complaints: only one small window could be opened, there was no description of what the included breakfast would be (turns out it was all bread and sugar, none of which I can eat), and the orderly stomped around at 2am while completing his nightly duties. Our room (Cometa) also shares a window with the hallway/stair case, which shined light into our room all night and there was no good way to block it. I would say if these issues were fixed/ included in the description ahead of time so I could make an informed decision, I would have given a better rating.

I picked this hotel bc of the reviews I read. The reviews didn’t do justice. Our stay was wonderful as well as our room with an amazing view of el Tepozteco. The bed was comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. The way they serve us breakfast was so cute and delicate, light, super healthy and tasty. Great coffee! Stevia and cream! The staff was awesome and friendly. The hotel was super clean and cozy. The owner ( I wasn’t aware he was) came and talk to us and thank us for choosing to stay there. We felt safe at all times. Great location and so close from everything. Next time we are back, we will stay here for sure!!! Mil Gracias!!!

Short walk to center and despite the proximity is quiet in there. Very clean and filling expectations. The only negative I found is not having air conditioning. Overall is a pleasant stay for a short period.

It was not clean. Luckily the sheets and the towels were fine, but the covers had disgusting stains, there was dirt around the room. The shower barley had any water pressure or hot water...

Great hotel near Main Street, good breakfast (just coffee, fruit, bread and juice)

We liked the helpful friendly staff, the amazing views and great location We did not like the fact that there were 3 long haired cats in the lobby and breakfast area ALL the time. My husband is allergic to cats, and there was nothing in the publicity to warn us.

Excelente lugar para hospedarse, muy cerca del centro de Tepoztlán, cuenta con estacionamiento amplio. Definitivamente volvería! :)

La estancia estuvo muy agradable. El servicio muy atento y había un gatito bebé en el patio que era muy lindo y amigable.

Un lugar muy céntrico, agradable, el desayuno muy suculento de fruta con granola y yoghurt, café delicioso y pan tostado con mermelada y mantequilla, también cuenta con estacionamiento muy seguro

Muy atento el personal y muy limpio el lugar. No hubo agua caliente en la regadera pero fuera de eso todo bien.

Increíble experiencia me encanto la vista le ubicación y en general estuvo genial
