The lady who checked me in was nice and welcoming. She helped set up AC for me. Their was a huge roach in AC . It came out later in the evening and another staff member helped me kill it and clean it. Their were spiders in bathroom and smaller roaches. The pool was cloudy needed to be cleaned. The shower water was either extremely hot or only cold water. I stayed 2 nights , 3 days, after first night their was no water in morning, and after 2nd night again no water , staff member gave my mom a bucket of water. Per staff the one attending the night before forgot to pump water and that's why their were none in morning. The restaurant they advertise in room (edith jardin) is awful ,worst food ever. Refillable hand, body soap, and shampoo. Also staff member went in to room without asking , their was no door sign to say if wanted or not for our room to be cleaned. Was my 2nd year staying at this place, this experience was less enjoyable than the first time. Staff were all nice. Location is not that near from convent, closer to kinich komoo. But in humid hot weather it seems farther and their is no transportion available unless you rent a car.

Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Air is cold, which is important in Merida. Excellent value. Receptionist does not speak English, so that may be an issue with some guests, though we knew enough Spanish to get by.

The property was what I expected for the price I paid. Staff is helpful and there was a guy who took his time to explain to my father about the mamey tree that in back yard and were pitaya grow. Pool was a little dirty and not desirable to get in . There was french people that were brave to get in. Hotel is a little far and inconvenient from the main plaza if you dont have a car and it 100 degrees. Other than this it a great place. Oh also the guy who check us in wanted to charge extra 100 for my daughter who is 17 becuase she considered an adult. This was not stated at time of reservation. Luckily the gentleman was very understanding as i told him this was not stated at time of reservation and that I did mention i was taking a 17 yrold and I was not charged the extra 100 pesos.

Nice quiet property with friendly and accommodating staff.

Hotel au calme et bien placé, car l'on peut rejoindre le centre d'Izamal à pied en seulement 10 minutes. L'acceuil est très agréable et serviable, mais ne parle QUE espagnol. La chambre n'était pas très spacieuse, mais suffisante pour une nuit. La climatisation n'est pas trop bruyante. La piscine n'est là que pour la décoration car il est impossible de s'y baigner. Les places de parking sont limitées à 4. Mais l'on peut se garer dans la rue sans problème. C'est un bel hotel pour une étape et d'un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous y retournerions sans problème.

Good for the price

Initially the GPS led us to a different location for some reason, and I will say I was worried. Once that was straightened out, we found the hotel, and it was a nice surprise. The internet worked well (we had to do some work) and the location was very walkable to the city centre, and some great restaurants. The staff gave some great recommendations. The Pyramid was also close by. We have been staying in some budget accommodation along the way, but this by far surpassed most of them in terms of comfort, cleanliness and proximity to restaurants.

Clean and comfortable room Hotel quiet, good location (10mns walk to the center) Nice little pool to refresh and coffee /drinking water at disposal.

I liked the pool and seating area outside. I could hear the TV from the other room every time they had it on.

Place is clean is only 10 mins walking away from the main square , we loved it. Totally recommended.
