Scammers! These guys sent me a message 2 minutes before I got there. Their excuse was a problem with the shower No water coming out. They said I will be reimbursed but 1 month later nothing. Worst experience ever! I had to find another hotel pay 2 the price plus the cab going in there.

This was a great condo in a fantastic location, the roof top pool and two hot tubs were fantastic. Due to the sargassum issues, we did not get to enjoy the beach during this trip to playa, but the rooftop area at this location made up for it 10/10.

Highlight of the hotel, 1 block from the club district. 2 pools and a hot tub. Loved the hot water from the hot tub. Spacious suite. A negative was trying to take a shower with 4-6 droplets coming from the faucet lol you must Remind them to clean your room or they won’t stop by unfortunately. Noise construction at 8am was not a positive experience if you’re trying to sleep.

The Condo building itself was very well maintained. Friendly staff. Secure building. The host to our apartment was unresponsive right from the booking. We had unit #103 . The host never responded to any emails sent before arrival. Even when we were there, host did not respond to his whats app or look at it , with a very serious issue we had in Unit.. We would definitely stay at Singular Joy again. But never with this host.

This is a great place very convenient to everything and is a beautiful clean property with excellent view

The worst, our bed sheets were dirty with multiple stains and our towels were so old and dingy not to mention the smell and stains. The loud sound of music playing all night long to late morning was unbearable unable to sleep or even rest. My stay was from Saturday to Thursday and by Sunday I requested a refund and did my check out. My refund has been denied even though my family and I didn’t stay due to the very poor conditions of our room and the constant loud music playing from the next door club that it’s not on description of the property. It’s literally as if you are staying in the night club every night.

The room was missing a hair dryer & I reached out to the front desk, the cleaning staff & they said to contact the owner but the owner never answered my messages. The room was neglected, the sheets weren’t changed, they never cleaned our room in a week stay.

We liked it.

The room was pretty small but very close to all the major shopping areas. Everything was so close by. There are clubs close by and the music is pretty loud which to me it wasnt much of a problem since I knocked out quick. The only issue was the AC, the room was pretty hot and Ac didnt cool enough.

The property was decent inside. The tile floors were nice, also the rooms and bathrooms were acceptable. The pool area was nice with the bar. I was impressed when the staff got right on cleaning a leaking water heater in the hallway and the elevator. I could hear the faint noise of the clubs at night down the street, but it wasn't loud enought for me to not fall asleep. I was on the side of the building closest to Mandala night club.

Just Okay – Probably Wouldn’t Stay Again This was actually our second time trying this hotel. I was traveling with my teenage son, and while the building is in good shape and the room was spacious enough for both of us, there were definitely some drawbacks. The basics were covered: a comfortable bed, decent shower (though the water pressure was just okay), toiletries, fridge, Wi-Fi, and TVs—but no cable. One big issue was the AC in our first room—it couldn’t keep the space cool. We had to ask for a room change, which took a bit of back and forth—not ideal mid-trip. There’s a coffee maker in the room, but oddly no coffee provided. They also only give one room key, and no extras were available. If you run into problems, you’re told to go through your booking site (Expedia, etc.), which made things more complicated. The location is convenient—just a couple blocks from 5th Avenue and steps from a 7/11. However, it’s very close to bars and clubs, so the noise at night can be an issue. There was also ongoing construction outside, adding to the disruption. My son and I are heavy sleepers, so it didn’t ruin our trip, but light sleepers should be warned. The highlight was the rooftop pool—great view of the Caribbean, and the bar prices were reasonable. We spent most of our days exploring Playa del Carmen and had an amazing time at Xel-Há (highly recommend!). Overall, the stay was just okay. Not terrible, not great. With so many options in Playa, we’ll probably try somewhere else

Our room was not ready in time so we had to wait. The room was also hot at night and difficult to keep cool. Be aware that this property is near night clubs that are very noisy at night.

Its always a great stay, it is not a quiet property its more for the younger party crowds

One of the best place to reside and I would always come back here again love this place and very safe and right at the heart of everything around. The surprise is that once you are in your room it’s completely quiet
