Spanish Moon

We were at Spanish Moon for a month. Perfect for cooking some meals at home although we also enjoyed the great restaurants in the area. Fun to be in a less touristy area, we enjoyed shopping at the market. The owners were very responsive to any questions. And swimming pool great!

This place is great. Highly recommended. Very quiet. Very small pool but a very nice social environment. The free laundry machines were an excellent benefit.

The room was very clean. There was major road work out in front which was very loud during the day. However, the hotel is very well located and we had a nice stay. It would have been 5 stars if there was no road work.

From start to finish the staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Hosts were also amazing and were on top of everything, requests were handled with a quick response. Suite was well equipped, tastefully decorated and clean, balcony was a bonus. The neighborhood is just outside the tourist zone but very walkable to everything in Zona Romantica. Be kind to the stray cats and dogs, feed them if you can, they are part of the charm.

we enjoyed our 2 night stay in this comfortable, well set up room. We would be happy to stay here again. It is best for people with good mobility.

Such a nice place! Will absolutely stay here again! Clean, courteous, full of amenities, spacious, comfortable, well-maintained, not dated, and well-situated in the neighborhood. Would have benefitted from some basic area information available in the room (like location of nearest ATM, as most local businesses only accept cash). But that’s what the internet is for. I highly recommend Spanish Moon!

A wonderful stay in PV. Immaculately clean, newly renovated. Kitchens very well equipped. This is my new 'go to' spot in PV. Perfectly in the back section of the Zona Romántica - a short walk to all the restaurants and bars, but quiet. The brand new pool will be ready in 2-4 weeks (Sept 2025). Ask about ground floor rooms if some stairs are an issue, but everyone offered to help with luggage.

Great accommodations!!! Freshly remodeled with all new kitchen and bathrooms. Everything that you could possibly need was present in our unit. Very conveniently located with restaurants, bakeries and stores minutes away. Less than a 10-minute walk to the beach. Loved this place!

Rooms 13 and 14 are beside a indoor volleyball court that is next door. The building is slightly connect to the hotel, those rooms are loud from the early morning untill afternoon. Monday thru Friday due to the volleyball court use.

A very well appointed and equipped studio, ideal for a solo traveller. It’s located in a quieter neighbourhood, but with several restaurants and bars nearby. It’ll be my go-to in PV from now on.

Everything was great highly recommend will stay again.

Cute hotel, easy walk to beach. You need to be ok with stairs. Rooms are nice, with kitchen and remodeled bathrooms.

This place was amazing definitely coming back for sure.

Scrambling to find a room at the last minute when our flight was cancelled, we were able to find this lovely, newly renovated gem in old PV, quiet but near to restaurants, etc Pleasantly surprised. A bit of a hike upstairs to our room but there are ground floor options.

Quiet area in an upcoming area. Staff responded quickly to issues; well kept with well appointed kitchen.

This place is beautiful. It is a little off the beaten path in a more residential neighborhood in PV. The amenities were lovely, and fully furnished for a short or long term stay. Full kitchen, large TV with Netflix, moderate sized bathroom and rainmaker shower with hot water, complimentary drinking water, etc...

When I arrive at the Spanish moon? We were told that the suite that we had booked that a pipe at burst and we were gonna get an upgrade. We thought great and the property is across the street. No problem, except for they didn't tell us that there was a band playing outside our window for New Year's Eve. That would play till 8 am the next day!! when we checked out we were told that happens every year..That was a down grade not a upgrade. We feel someone else got our room ..never stay there again overall noisy area..
