Ya'ax Hotel Boutique

Great location. Walking distance to what you want to see in historical center. Quite place even though the streets of Merida often feel clogged with traffic. The manager spoke excellent English but others were less proficient but still enough so that the conversations went smoothly. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms are close to each other. We heard very well what neighboring room was talking about on the phone. Parking is close by and free. I wish we were informed about this earlier. It simply says “self parking” which I don’t know what it means.

Table next to us sat later and received food before us. Took over 15 minutes to get breakfast after our coffe, bread, and tea. Room Decor and room were beautiful!

Very pretty boutique hotel. Pool was very clean. Great customer service. Great location 10 min walking to the gastronomy 47 where lots of restaurants are located also walking distance to the Centro of Merida. Hotel block is very quiet nothing right by the hotel which makes it very peaceful not noisy at all you can hear the bird’s chirping instead of people and cars passing bye. The food at the restaurant was very good . Bedroom was very clean as well as the hotel. Would stay here again for sure

The hotel was simplistically elegant. The room was perfectly outfitted with all travelers needs, beautifully designed and the bedding was luxurious. The breakfast was delectable, generous, and impeccably presented. The small pool is actually the perfect size for a short lap and a cool down. Amazing place! Really look forward to being back there in a couple of days!

Great place and amazing staff

I stayed the last full week of March. This hotel is discreet, peaceful and beautiful. From the moment you check in, greeted with smiles and warmth. From the moment the glass door is opened to guide you to the courtyard you realize you are entering serenity and calm. The room was well spaced, I stayed in the king suite which was big enough for one person very comfortably. The grounds are clean and, well kept and serene. The pool area is not big but it is sophisticated. The location is in a power area but so close to Calle 60 and the Paseo without having to deal with any lingering noise. The food, I had breakfast daily, is balanced and beautifully presented. Everything about this place is wonderful but not for those that aren’t looking for peace. If you are looking for loud crowds and rowdy evenings, this is not the place. At least not during the time I was there. I will be going back, it felt like home away from home.

We had a fantastic stay at Ya’ax Hotel. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the perfect spot. The front desk and service staff were amazing—always helpful and welcoming. I especially loved the pool, which was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The food at the hotel was excellent as well. Plus, the location is great—close to downtown but still feels secluded. Overall, a wonderful experience with warm and friendly staff.

Everything about this place was charming and delightful.

The restaurant in the hotel was incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to any request we had. The room was decorated nicely, and the grounds of the hotel common area were beautiful.
