Can't fault the place - great location and a short walk to many pubs and cafes. Staff were top-notch and really couldn't have done enough for us. Always had a big smile on their faces (especially Mariana!). Hotel itself is kept spotlessly clean. I'll definitely stay here again when back in Chisinau :)

Hotel was clean and very quiet. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful. But the swimming pool was closed. And access to the fitness area and hammam was not available. The hotel is on a busy street and about a 30-minute walk to the city center. Chisinau seemed safe and I walked the streets at all hours. Restaurants and bars and museums and churches all over. Parks too.

The hotel was very poor. I have been using hotels .com for years all around the world,and this is by far the worst hotel i have stayed in. It was a good way out of the city center. The breakfast was that bad it was not worth going down for.

Chisinau in general is unremarkable and this hotel is representative of that. It is somewhat out of the city centre but only an easy 20 minute walk away. The rooms are a bit plain but comfortable enough and the wifi is particularly strong and fast. Breakfast selection is varied, despite being small and staff all around are pleasant and willing to help.

Hotel located close to shopping centers and restaurants in Chisinau. Large shopping center, "Malldova" is a short walk. No issues with getting taxis, staff is friendly and helpful. Tour planning and booking is available. Not much for english language television channels. Rooms are large, clean, and efficient though not quite luxurious. A fun Americana theme in the hotel including a large poster of "The King", Mr. Elvis Presley. Morning breakfast buffet was outstanding. Some good local Moldovan wines in the restaurant/ bar. Hotel manager was extremely friendly, multumesc! Comfortable hotel for exploring Chisinau and as a base for day trips in Moldova. I recommend the hotel for the area as it a good value.

We arrived late by train and the staff kept the kitchen open late for us to provide us with dinner. The rooms were functional, comfortable and clean. There were a great selection of activities provided by travel company based at the hotel. We would definitely return.

The Manhattan Hotel was more than adequate for the price, but not at all outstanding in any way. The service was good, the breakfast adequate and included, and the room of a good size. The television was a flat screen, but absolutely the smallest I have ever seen and quite a distance from the bed! The view from the rooms was really poor from the back of the hotel and the rooms quite dark. The lighting in the rooms was fair, somewhat dark, especially in the evenings. The rooms on the front side of the hotel were better, but they are located quite near and facing a noisy highwway. The bathroom was the real problem. No light whatsoever over the sink and mirror, a faucet that sprayed water all over anyone using it if not expremely careful when turning it on, and only a "hand held" shower device that was unusable as a fixed point shower head. However - on a more positive note, the bathroom was large with a tub included. I would recommend this hotel for a night or two, but if staying longer suggest one try to get a nice renovated apartment closer to the center of town and in walking distance of all the resturants, etc.

Though the hotel staff were very friendly, though i got everything that i requested from them, the main issue was there is no silence. The room that they alloted to me was on ground floor room no. 1 and i can hear every single noice - people walking, talking, laughing, etc. They did not changed my room, despite my serious effort to make her understand that i am tired and i need to sleep. So, despite everybody in the hotel was good and helpful, i could not recommend it as i lost whole night sleep and my entire booking amount was jus a waste

Rummet var helt ok enligt östeuropeisk standard. Sängarna var sköna och renligheten som man kan förvänta sig. Frukostbuffén var mindre bra, litet utbud och fylldes endast på vid behov. Servicen var förstklassig och de trevliga tjejerna i receptionen hjälpte oss med allt vi bad om. Extra bra var den proaktiva servicen som att erbjuda sig att leverera minkvarglömda jacka till biluthyraren när vi checkat ut eller att kontakta oss när de hörde att vi sökt dem. De var också duktiga på engelska. Helt klart prisvärt mellanklasshotell.
