This Riad is truly a beautiful labor of love, run by a lovely family. The building is being exquisitely restored and renovated, but remains a traditional Riad—few windows which might bother some but a welcome respite from the hustle and heat of the Médina. Shout out to Kamal, Karim and the rest of the crew for their caring and warmth!

The artistry & quality of craftsmanship of this recently rebuilt Ryad are outstanding. It is breathtaking; a special experience. The owners, sons, & niece work as a great team to delight their guests at the Riad & at their nearby restaurant (food and service are excellent). Tip: Get precise instructions as to where your taxi driver should drop you off (closest gate into the Medina because there is a short walk to it; cars can’t enter). Get the Riad team to meet you at your taxi. We arrived on a Friday, day where the Medina is closed & several gates in the Medina were looked. We had no prior information on that. No WIFI. Our taxi driver showed us on his phone that it’s only an 8 mn walk and gave us wrong directions (he had dropped us off at the wrong gate although we had given him the correct address, mislead us, overcharged us-this is common). There are no street signs. A teenager offered his help but took us to the wrong Riad; he called a friend who got us to our Riad after an hour of walking through dirty streets rolling our luggage. They were genuinely kind, wanting to help tourists as it is tradition in the culture & honest; we are well travelled & usually avoid such situations. They got a big tip; the owner of the Riad warmly greeted us with amazing tea & cookies. Had booked 2 days before because another Riad cancelled on us due to double booking. The owner said he responded to my request for pick up & tel; to this day i didn’t get this message; was it lost by Expedia?

A splendid riad in the heart of Medina, and run by the most wonderful family. You feel at home away from your home. Parents, children, nieces and nephews pamper you the whole time. The family also has a Michelin level restaurant with authentic cuisine of Fes. I can’t wait to come back and stay there.

It was not as advertised. Very dark and windy alleys to get there. The Riad itself was not a true Riad. It has no internal courtyard. It was very dark inside with no natural light. It was also partially under construction. We were not willing to stay and left. We found a nearby hotel instead. We requested butwere given no refund. Very disappointed and not a cheap price either

Where to begin with this hidden historical gem, preserved by the love of generational care. This stay is one of my most memorable international stays. It's concept of emersion in the culture and food ways creates an unforgettable experience. In old Medina Fes history enshrouds it's guest. There's an element of surprise that only the true traveler will experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Riad for a few nights. It is authentically and tastefully decorated. The hosts were very generous and welcoming. The food was delightful. The owner also accompanied me for hours visiting shops to help me secure local prices on some of the traditional items I was looking to purchase. I’m really happy that I opted for the Riad over a more western hotel in the city. Definitely recommended.

Excellent stay at beautiful property. The Riad is stunning on the inside with intricate work throughout the property. Fouad helped to arrange our city tour with Abdou, who was wonderful and showed us many parts of Fes and took us to the best places to pick up mementos for our trip. We also booked a cool excursion to Volubilis, Meknes, and Moulay Idriss with our driver Kamal. One night, we ate a delicious meal at Dar Hatim, which is run by Fouad's wife, Karima. We were well taken care of throughout our entire stay. Great experience!

Beautiful decorated riad in the heart of the Médina. From the minute we arrived to al Fassia palace, the staff made us feel as comfortable as possible. We were there for a short time but they helped us make the most it by arranging a tour at a great price. We always felt safe as they had their staff member idriss walk us to our destinations or cab if it was late at night. They made us feel like family, and made our trip to fez that much more memorable

We spent three incredible nights at Alfassia Palace on a two week holiday across Morocco and have no critiques to provide. We were welcomed by Esme, our gracious host, who was kind enough to see to our every need without hesitation. From a delightfully grand breakfast to arranging a knowledgeable guide to show us the ancient capital, the generosity and attentiveness of Esme and the staff at Alfassia Palace will not soon be forgotten. As for the house, we cannot stress just how beautifully it is decorated. The intense attention to detail is evident in every nook and cranny; the painstakingly hand-painted ceilings fit truly for a palace. The rooms are large with luxurious adornments such as a soft bed, a handcrafted headboard and wardrobe. Each room has its own washroom, complete with a full sized bathtub (though other suites have jacuzzis) - not something we often saw elsewhere in Morocco hotellery. The panoramic rooftop terrace views truly took our breath away, providing unobstructed views of major historical sites. Alfassia Palace is located near Bab Guissa in a less touristic neighborhood - a 10-20 min. walk to Bab Boujloud. Esme and the staff’s warm reception made our stay truly extraordinary. Our sincerest thanks to everyone at Alfassia Palace for making Fes the highlight of our trip! If you are seeking a genuinely exceptional experience in Fes, look no further than the beautiful Alfassia Palace! We cannot wait to return, inchallah! inchalla!

Wspaniały, okazały riad, który ma około 600 lat. Świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Fezu.
