This trip was a late honeymoon for us and we could not have picked better. Marrakesh is a very busy and loud city and the riad nabila was our one place for tranquility and some quiet. The staff were always courteous and very helpful. The best statement I can make is that if I were to go again I would not hesitate to use the same riad.

Lovely place. Very kind and helpful manager and staff who do speak some English. They were also kind enough to make some phone calls for me as I wanted to go swimming. The breakfast of pancakes and bread and jam and very strong coffee and fresh orange was lovely. And it was quiet As others have said the Riad is about 2km north of the square, so you have to navigate your way through all the souqs to get to and from. Or a taxi.I think the area is very safe but as it was my first time in morocco and a single woman,I didn't feel confident enough at night. So I moved somewhere near the square to avoid the hassle. Which was lot more expensive But if you are 2 people you would be fine, and I think next time I would be happy to stay there

Wonderful! Would highly recommend. We arrived very late on our first night and had an amazing dinner at 1:30 am. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The food is excellent! Our rooms were beautiful and very authentic. It is nice that the Riad is not in the heart of the medina as it is quite hectic there. The staff was very good at getting us taxis to the medina. Great place!

The service at this Riad was impeccable. Abdoul and his team strived to ensure that we felt welcomed and that our needs were attended to. Even when there was a situation with our bathroom pipe in the wee hours of the morning, Abdoul made himself available to help clean up and move all our items to another room. The property is a bit hard to find when travelling by foot, especially at night, so I’m grateful that the hosts helped to organise taxis for our travels.

What you pay for is what you get. Should have paid more and stayed elsewhere. Abdoul was helpful however the rest of the staff lacked lustre. Don’t expect water in your room to drink, a working iron, room service or general facilities of a usual hotel. More like a hostel feel with groups coming and going from there. The pictures look nice however the service doesn’t make it as good as it looks

My sister and I stayed in this Riad and we honestly think it’s amazing for what you’re paying for. It looks good in pictures but it’s even better in person. The interior is very traditional but not dated. Also, the room that we stayed in was spacious and housekeeping was spot on. We would go out and have a really exhausting day and would come back to our room feeling relaxed as they are consistent with tidying up. However, it is a bit difficult to find the area especially if it’s your first time in Marrakech. Saying the name of your riad won’t really help since there’s a thousand of it in Marrakech. Therefore, you have to know which gate it is on. Riad Nabila is by Bab Tagzout (gate) if I remember correctly. Saying this to your cab/tuktuk driver would make it easier for them to locate the riad. This is something our lovely receptionist helped us with. The receptionist named Abdoul was extra helpful. The first night we arrived, he came and pick us up where the cab driver drop us off (since roads are narrow, some drivers won’t come in to the street where this riad is) so be mindful of that. Having said that, before leaving the riad, you can ask your receptionist to book you a cab if you’re going somewhere instead of just going out and finding your way and looking lost. A lot of teenage boys will insist on guiding you and then end up asking for money. So be careful. Overall, our experience in Riad Nabila was absolutely fantastic and would definitely come back again.

Riad Nabila was a small haven of calm in a manic trip to marrakech. Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful (a little easier if you speak French). Breakfasts were simple but delicious. The courtyard was pretty and charming, peaceful and a nice place to hang out. The room was charming, slightly crumbly walls but nothing upsetting. Bin hadn’t been emptied since last person, and sink was a bit grubby - but felt like if I was bothered enough to complain it would be fixed. Overall this riad felt like a safe place in an otherwise awful city.

This riad is quite beautiful; the architecture and decor were incredible but the bed was terrible and there were very old towels and bedding. No basic toiletries were provided. Breakfast each day was always some variation of a Moroccan pancake, a basket of bread and some small pieces of cake served with orange juice, coffee, and apricot and strawberry jams. I think this is a pretty standard Moroccan hotel breakfast and we really enjoyed having it in the quiet courtyard next to the small plunge pool. The atmosphere and garden in the courtyard is incredible. The staff were friendly but not very fluent in English or conversational. Like most of Marrakech, I think you'll have an easier time communicating with staff if you speak French. We are somewhat experienced travellers but this riad is located in a very challenging location to access. Taxi drivers could not drive us home at night because the streets are too narrow near the riad. We also had issues every day walking to and from the area without being trailed by pushy teenage boys trying to 'guide' us to our destination (often pointing to very circuitous routes). We were booked to stay here for 7 days but checked out after 3 nights, opting to move to a different area of Marrakech in a hotel with better access and basic amenities.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was not expensive, so don't expect a 5 star experience, but it was what I would expect at this price level. We wanted to stay in the Medina, so that was good. The staff was nice and easy to deal with. We enjoyed the simple breakfast each morning.

This is a gorgeous Riad - the photos are real! :) - with excellent service. Siad the evening attendant in particular was very helpful with advice and assistance. The location, like many in the Medina, is in an impossibly complex series of alley ways, which made getting in and out confusing and difficult. Please note as of this writing if you plug the address into Google maps your DO NOT GET THE CORRECT LOCATION - it's in the northeast of the Medina near 'Sidi Ghalem'. Try not to get ripped off too badly by cabs in and out - 30 dirhams is really enough for anywhere - if you can, get them to turn on the meter.

Wifi didn't reach my room. I asked if they could move the router a bit so the signal could reach my room - they didn't even try. Wifi connectivity and speed from shared area was very good. Enjoyed getting into the central pool - it was clean. The shared area is quiet and relaxing. Some lovely music by the pool in late evenings was very enjoyable. Neighbourhood is not too nice. I found that it was safe. But not close to clean and posh. The entrance is quite bad - but inside it is excellent. It is about 10 - 15 min walk to the "big square". They ask to buy water/alcohol from them and not bring in your own even for consumption in your room. Google Maps showed me two "Riad Nabila"s! The email I got for the booking did not have the right GPS co-ords! This Hotel is near "Bab Kechich". The other one which probably does not really exist is near "Bab Ghmat". Breakfast was okay because I'm not too fussy. Orange juice was great.

The Riad was the kind of accommodation I was looking for and the Nabila has been superb. Massive rooms decorated with typical Moroccan style, a bit chilli in the night though.. Beautiful garden with pool in the middle and sofas all around. Listening to relaxing Moroccan music after a whole day in the Medina makes you feel amused. Not quite impressed about the location. It is really hard to find and we experienced a bed episode with the taxi that left us close to it but we were basically lost as a group of guys took us to the Riad in exchange of money. It was very annoying because I didn't have enough change and we have been threatened every time we were passing by there. Overall very nice experience.
