Friendly staff, cozy environment with spacious room. Market is just 200m away and also a Supermarket Some of the Senior staffs speaks English, so making our hols very convenient to travel on our own. Thank yoU MK HOTEL

The manager and staff at this hotel are great. The man who opens the door upon entry and exit was always smiling, lovely. This hotel is not in the main drag and instead it has more of a local appeal, although it is not too far from anywhere! There is a market and handy mart virtually across the road and many cheap local restaurants. The room was basic but comfortable, definitely would go back.

What wonderful staff! I was royally spoiled by Mr Tin and his staff. Loved the local breakfasts, someone getting me a taxi, coming with an umbrella when I arrive in the rain.

Mk hotel is great for the price. I've stayed in a few other places in Yangon at this price range, and the cleanliness and location is the best I've found (if you want to be downtown). Great service. Only real criticism is the breakfast, but it's not like it's better at other hotels at this price, and you can walk anywhere else to eat.

We arrived by night bus, and managed to check in to our room at 730am. No complaints there. Breakfast is good, plenty of choices, but dining area is small, so do get there earlier. While it is downtown yangon, it is a little further from the attractions like sule pagoda although we walked from the hotel to botataung and sule pagoda, around 20 minutes, 1km+ or it is only one cheap taxi ride away. took us awhile to choose a hotel for yangon, but it was indeed a good choice.

Friendly and helpful hotel. Breakfast - a small buffet with local and western dishes and good service. Room was very clean with good wifi, some film channels in English, CNN, and some Myanmar Tv in English. Hot water shower. Kettle and good air conditioning. We slept very well. Only minor criticism is the hotel is a little bit from the centre, however taxis were good value and seemed very honest and there are some tea shops like Lucky 7 and restaurants like Thai 47 nearby. We enjoyed our 4 days in Yangon very much, lots to see and do and people seem very pleased to be able to help tourists. Lots of new restaurants and cafes.

Room is clean and spacious, hot water shower is good, Air con is strong. Two brief power trips happened. WiFi is intermittent. Staff is helpful. No breakfast provided. Sister hotel Shwe Poe Eain charges 5000k for breakfast. Swimming pool there is free to use but there's no changing room. Location is off the main centre by 300 metres. And music and singing from a local festival can be heard in the room one whole night til dawn. Hotel is value for money for shared rooms between 2 to 4 persons.
