Excelent and very friendly services by the staff, the floor could use more moping, food was alright, room was good, view was very nice. Overall we loved our stay at Paramount Inle Lake, got chance to enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunset from the hotel. Recommended place to stay.

It’s a great hotel. We loved playing cards and having a drink on the deck watching the action on the river. It’s a beautiful view. Our room was comfortable and they did turn down service which was really nice. Restaurant food is very good, which we were happy with because you must eat there every night because the boats don’t run after dark. Breakfast was also delicious. Service was fantastic as well! You won’t be disappointed staying here. It’s also very reasonably priced. Thank you for a great visit!

The service was outstanding, everyone is super nice at the hotel. We enjoyed the boat ride to the hotel and it felt authentic. The downside is that the walls are wodden and not insulated we could clearly hear people in the next room. As the hotel is on the lake there was sounds of scratching on the walls probably from some small mouse outside the room. Overall it was a nice stay but not the comfiest.

Beware that you need to arrange for a boat on your own to bring you to this hotel located in the middle of the inle lake. Other than that and the spartan facade, i must say that you will not be disappointed. Particularly, rhe sunset view, the service of the staff and food at the hotel are exceptional! Highly recommended to stay more than 1 nights.

Beautiful resort with great views. It is located on the lake with no access to a road. The hotel did not advise in advance that a private boat is needed. It’s about 45 mins from Nyaung Shwe, but boats are plentiful and you can combine with a tour. As such, only dinner option is on the resort. The staff was very attentive otherwise and helped with everything else, including transport to Mandalay.

Excellent breakfast with spectacular lake view in the morning! Impressive to have Gouda and Edam cheese! Good spot for sunset madness, quietly enjoy sunset just at the dock is super fantastic! Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Reaching here is an adventure in itself, given that only way in, is by boat! From the airport, one takes a 30-40 min cab ride to the jetty, followed by another 30-40 min ride on the long-tailed motor boat through the lake. the "water bungalows" are super cute; located over the water on stilts, with a small patio and deck chairs facing the lake. The rooms are on the small side, with less than roomy BR/shower: however they are kept clean and they are comfy with mosquito nets over the beds. the decor is all very dated, but has rustic quaint quality to it. there is a small "coffee tea bar" ie hot water kettle in each room, and a mini fridge. At 150$ a night I did expect a bit more luxury in Burma, but eh. the bF buffet is the standard fare of local specialties, coffee/tea/fruit juice, baked goods, breads, eggs station and local fruits. More than adequate. the staff are commendable. the front desk in a ranging touring boats for sunrise/sunsets/local villages: their pricing is very reasonable and competitive for hiring boats and their drivers for half day or full day. I'd recommend staying here for your exploration to Inle Lake.

After spending a few days in Nyaung Shwe, we booked two nights in a standard double bedroom for a day of relaxation on Inle Lake. The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning, a fan, and mosquito nets over the beds. We also had a nice private porch with a beautiful view of the lake. The one downside to the room is that the walls are very thin so we heard the guests staying the rooms on either side of ours. The service at the hotel was excellent as the staff were very friendly and attentive. Because the hotel is located in the middle of the lake (~30 minute boat to Nyaung Shwe), we ate our meals at the hotel restaurant which served a nice selection of food. Although our short stay at Paramount Inle Resort was a great retreat, it is not the most convenient jumping off point for exploring the greater Inle Lake area and we were glad to have spent the first half of our stay in Nyaung Shwe.

Nice hotel on Inle lake for food, drinks & sunset, etc on the balcny. Just a shame about the constant flow of noisy boats up & down river in front of hotel - even at night. Mozzies were v.savage too - needed lots of spray, etc.

The hotel was quite nice but once you get there you are pretty much stuck at the hotel as boat transportation is required to go anywhere. There is a water village not far from the hotel and we did a day tour visiting numerous locations throughout the village. All meals we had were at the hotel and they were quite nice. I would have gotten cabin fever if we stayed longer than the 1.5 days we did. During the day the electricity was off for a few hours while (I believe) the generator gas was being refilled. Of note, KinPo who works the front desk was amazing. She helped us with anything we needed and coordinated our day tour as well as our boat to return to the mainland about an hour away. I recommend this hotel for a short trip out on the lake.
