Our Habitas Namibia

We stayed for two nights. The setting on a hill overlooking the private reserve is simply breathtaking. The views are outstanding, and the atmosphere is very special. The staff is wonderful; Ndeshi, Ludo, Moses and Toini in particular made our stay memorable. The kitchen prepares excellent dishes and consistently goes the extra mile. Given the comparatively high game drive prices, especially if you want to see predators, the math is quite simple and we decided to upgrade to full board. Guests should be aware that full board, unlike in many other lodges, only includes soft drinks, beers and house wine (no liquor), and that massages are charged as add-ons. Unfortunately, behind the scenes there are some critical quality issues. During our stay, there was a recurring problem with rodents entering guest rooms at night. In our case, we had a mouse in the room on both nights, making noise, misplacing personal items, and moving very close to the sleeping area. To be fair, the staff on duty reacted professionally. They offered a room change in the middle of the night and waived part of our bill, which we appreciated. Overall, we still recommend the lodge for its stunning scenery and genuinely warm people. However, from a price–value perspective, we experienced noticeably better value elsewhere in Namibia.

Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude, unfriendly, and not helpful at all. Several activities and experiences advertised were not delivered, with excuses given instead. Housekeeping was also poor — despite requesting a towel change, it was not done for four days. Overall, the service did not match what was promised, and I would not recommend this place.

I didn’t want to leave, staff were incredible

One of the beautiful places I have stayed. Lodge was luxurious and felt like I was in my own paradise with no distractions. Woke up the most amazing sunrise or had cocktails with a red haze backdrop. Bed was beyond comfortable, and wanted to lie in all day. Food was delicious with something for everyone. Try out the corn bread, one of many during my stay. cocktails by the fire pit and chilling in the lounge was blissful. Highly recommend the hotel. Too short a stay and plan to visit again. Thanks to MJ, Paulus, Micheal, chef and crew for a wonderful stay. ♥️♥️♥️

Nice tents that are spacious and solid with a heater. They even had heating pads in the bed for extra warmth and comfort at night. Excellent view from our balcony, very friendly staff and the food was excellent. The safaris were wonderful got to see lots of animals. I would definitely return. We booked 2 nights and we were wishing it would have been longer. Thanks Our Habitas!

An absolutely fantastic stay, the property and surroundings are stunning. We really enjoyed the safaris with our guide Moses, he is very passionate about his job and this shows during the tours. He went above and beyond to help us enjoy our trip and see as many animals as possible by tracking the animals through the park even in the long grass. It was wonderful and the staff was AMAZING, especially Lotto, Johaness and Abraham. The infrastructure could have been better. We were there through a rainstorm and our tent suffered some exterior damage. It was an experience, but it felt like the tents / buildings could have been better, especially in comparison to other Habitas properties.

What a gem! This camp felt like a world away from people, yet it is 45 minutes from the Windhoek airport. The luxury tents are spacious and well appointed and offer beautiful views from the hilltop. Turndown in the evenings was such a lux treat. Staff were all terrific, full of smiles and so well trained. Everything about the service and the food was excellent. Our guide every game drive was young, enthusiastic and so knowledgeable. His name is Shaanika and he left to see his mom for Xmas on our departure day. A great 3 night adventure, highly recommended. Matt the manager and Olivia in the restaurant were also big highlights from a perfect trip.

We can not put in words how wonderful this hotel is. The quality of the accomodations, the absolute beauty of the location, the kindness of the staff (special mention for the wonderful morning safari), the food. Everything was more than perfect. We will be back, and recommend this adress!

Habitas Namibia is absolutely wonderful. The staff is warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is authentic. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you feel at home. The food was amazing. We enjoyed every meal. The rooms (tents) and decor was really unique. AWESOME!!! I can’t say enough how much I loved every single thing about my stay there. I can’t wait to go back❤️

Das Personal war extrem lieb und zuvorkommend. Besonders Muti und Toni haben uns super bedient. Haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.

A special stay at Our Habitas Namibia. Hospitality is truly a top priority here. Ndeshi, Muti, and all the other ladies were exceptionally attentive, courteous, and kind. They knew our names and drink preferences, and after returning from activities, we were often greeted with a surprise drink. The food, which changed daily, was consistently excellent. We are especially grateful to Moses for our safari activities. He is a very experienced and professional safari guide with incredible knowledge and great passion for his work. He always made sure we could enjoy every moment and had plenty of time for photos. Memories to last a lifetime! Our Habitas is set right in the middle of nature and consists of tent-style accommodations, which means there’s wind, rain, and the occasional little creatures, which is part of the experience. The rooms are serviced twice a day, though some minor repairs could be made here and there. A bit more lighting in the rooms would also be nice. The solar lights along the path to our tent were all out of order and should urgently be replaced—having to walk with a phone flashlight in the evening slightly spoils the atmosphere. All in all, thank you very much for the wonderful stay that we will always remember.

Stunning location and view. Nice stuff and service. Facilities partially below expectations (doors of room's bathroom didn't close, limited hot water in the shower, no towels for pool use)

Herausragendes Erlebnis! Wunderschöne Lodge, tolle Zimmer, wahnsinnig tolle Aussicht, sehr freundliches Personal, hervorragendes Essen. Wir sind dankbar, ein paar Tage an diesem wunderschönen Ort verbracht haben zu dürfen.

Ottima esperienza, disponibilità ed esclusività sono state attenti a tutte le nostre richieste e hanno organizzato degli splendidi Safari unica pecca che non erano molto preparati sulla gestione delle allergie alimentari, tipo glutine lattosio

Unbeschreiblich grossartige Lodge mit einem phänomenalen Staff!

Concept stupendo quello di Habitas. Servizi di gamma altissima ma con sobrietà ed eleganza, tutto al posto giusto ma senza quell’aspetto coloniale che si ha dai posti di lusso in Africa. Un’eleganza non urlata che rende il tutto davvero magico. Abbiamo fatto meditazione nei Bush all’interno della riserva e una sessione di yoga all’alba sulla piattaforma con vista a 360 gradi sulla riserva in cui la struttura si trova (riserva di recente costituzione e grande quanto la provincia di Milano, Quindi nessuna situazione fake di predatori che vengono a mangiare dalle mani dei clienti che fanno il Safari). Unico neo, quella che doveva essere la nostra “Butler” non troppo preparata nel dare un servizio 5* alla nostra permanenza, qualche piccolo difetto di comunicazione. Nel complesso comunque un’esperienza da fare il concept è davvero incredibile. Un ringraziamento speciale a Ru che si è presa cura di noi con estrema professionalità e preparazione nelle esperienze spirituali e wellness. Habitas è il luogo dove sedimentare le mille emozioni e i ricordi di due settimane trascorse in Namibia.
