Harry Guest House & Restaurant

I very much appreciated the good service of Harry and his wife who made my stay comfortable and pleasant. My rating of this stay is high but travelers should be aware of two things. First, there is no air conditioning here. There was a large ceiling fan and opening windows with a breeze, but I missed air conditioning (which one might have expected in a hostel that is in Nepal's large tourist city of Pokhara). Second, the guest house advertises itself as having a "bar". The hosts kindly took me to their rooftop facility (which has a not bad view) on the fourth floor, but it is more of a drinking shed than a bar. No bartender, no other customers at the time, no decoration, and no atmosphere, so really just a place to drink. When another beer is wanted the procedure is to telephone the front desk and the hostess then very kindly climbs four floors with your drink before she returns to her station! Again, the place and hosts are very pleasant, but these two features were a bit lacking.

게스트하우스가 집같이 편안했어요, 사장님 사모님 두분다 따뜻하고 가족같이 대해주시고 한국음식도 너무 맛있었어요. 여기서 히말라야 포터도 구했는데 정말 친절하고 좋운 포터도 소개시켜주고 아무쪼록 즐겁고 편안한 포카라 여행이 되었습니다. 감사해요!담에 다시또가야겠어요 :)))))
